Charming little hotel set in a classical Chinese garden mansion. Unlike any other experience I have had. Totally lovable.

A very nice ancient homestay
Great location. Just a minute walk to the Shaxi Ancient City and you can park the car in front of the hotel and unload your luggages. Room is clean and spacious , heated bed , heater Aircon. Good breakfast.
The bathroom is cold because the heated light is not functioning.

The staff were part of the minority tribe group, and they were very helpful and friendly. The entire place and room were decorated according to traditional style and pattern. There was heating and heating mats provided on the beds.

Shaxi is a gem of Yunnan, a must visit in yunnan, and this hotel is ideal for exploring it as it sits right in it. The host family is very humble and nice people. The place is very beautiful, clean. The continental breakfast made by host lady was the best we had, even better than high end hotel we stayed before. They organized our transport on check out too. We will definitely return to this place again. Highly recommend.

The location of this hotel is literally on the doorstep of the pedestrian zone yet it is still accessible by car. The public car park is also right next door to the hotel. The hotel is decorated in traditional style and is very quiet at night. I liked that the hotel provided electric blankets for the cold nights. The breakfast is delicious and enough to keep you going for most of the day. Helpful staff and a relaxing place to enjoy Shaxi.

Staying at this family run hotel turned out to be the highlight of our visit to Shaxi ancient town. The hotel has beautiful courtyards and impressive building architecture. It’s situated just steps away from the ancient town with many restaurants and shops nearby yet remains a quiet oasis once we step into the hotel. The hotel room is clean, spacious and beautifully decorated. Bed is clean and comfortable with heated blanket. The host is very friendly and helped provide tips on attractions around town and transportation to Shaxi town. Breakfast was delicious and to our delight western breakfast option was provided.
Good value for money and highly recommended.

It is the best hotel in town by far ! Good style and oh boy the breakfast is delicious. They cooked specially for us some English breakfast, you can style get the Chinese one if you want.
Owner even invited us to drink during the evening.
Cannot recommend enough ! 😁
