Family friendly + Instagramable hotel with friendliest welcome by staffs during our 3 nights stay. Walkable to nearest point of interest and super accessible on public transport (grab, local bikes), mini mart and popular restaurants!

We only stayed at the hotel for one night, but we enjoyed it. The colonial-style building gave us a unique atmosphere. Located in the heart of Jogja, we could easily travel to other tourist areas such as Jl. Malioboro, the Jogja Palace, and the Vredeburg Museum. What impressed me was the hotel's breakfast. It was amazing with a variety of options including Western, local, and traditional choices. Even though it was just a one-night stay, it was very memorable.

The hotel has a classic, cozy atmosphere with well-maintained rooms that blend comfort and functionality perfectly. The true standout, however, is the staff. Every team member was friendly, attentive, and went above and beyond to make my stay memorable. From offering local tips to fulfilling special requests, their dedication to service was evident at every turn. The food at the hotel is also top-notch. The restaurant offers a delicious variety of dishes, all made with fresh, high-quality ingredients. I particularly enjoyed the breakfast buffet, which had an excellent selection to start the day right. Overall, The Phoenix Hotel offers a warm, welcoming experience with fantastic service and food. I can’t wait to return!

Beautiful colonial style hotel. Easy to access by taxi from the train station. Breakfast offers many options. Very friendly personnel!

Hotel is beautifully decorated with Java style ornaments. Location is good and breakfast are delicious at affordable price. Only downside is the facilities are a little bit old.

Stay is good, in room dining last order is way past midnight. Quiet neighbourhood. Room i have is king bed but it's actually 2 single bed pushed together.

The hotel is conveniently located close to a nice square with cafes and good local restaurants. The overall facilities are well taken care of and the pool is freshly located in the center of the hotel. The food was also nice and at a good price. Most of the tour services are able to pick you up from this location which makes it very convenient when exploring the city.

The staffs are friendly. The check-in and check-out process were simple and hassle-free. Room is cozy and comfortable. Hotel location is great, not very far from the famous shopping street. The breakfast was okay but the meals that we ordered for lunch were very salty and oily for us.

Friendly and helpful staff. Beautiful hotel. Nice pool. Great room. Aircon & water heater working great. Good location and walking distance to money changer and many eateries. Only downside is the room service & restaurant food is rather disappointing.
