Staff is not prepared for cleaning, poor breakfast, room is good but the amenities is poor. Parking lot very small.

What a great place to stay. Free parking close to restaurants. Clean hotel. Free hot breakfast.
Free coffee/tea/hot chocolate 24 hrs.
Nice gym facilities.
They say free wifi however for the whole weekend we had no wifi. They said it was broken.
The swimming pool was a little ify as well. Water didn't look swimable at all.
Staff are super friendly, helpful and very accommodating. Would definitely stay here again next time I am in Jamestown.

The staff was very kind and well-intentioned. The person initially checking me was a little confused; he told me it was his first day. He handed me over to a more experienced staff member and I was able to complete my check in. My most significant disappointment was that the Wifi was not working. This was not an "amenity" but an expectation and I was very disappointed. Also, the door from the lobby into the laundry room was kept open and it was not a very good look.

Lady at the front desk was nice, There was no internet as the rotor went down. The hot tub also was not working. Being on the road for 2 days we were looking forward to the Whirlpool. Room was big, the pull out couch had no bedding and only 1 towel in the room. Hole in the wall from the door. Breakfast was good

I stayed here for 3 nights. The room, breakfast area, and lobby were dirty and poorly maintained. The rooms and hallways smelled musty. There was garbage, pop bottles and baby items left in the room, which means they aren’t being checked or cleaned properly. The front desk staff, breakfast attendant, and housekeepers congregated at the front desk constantly and complained about the guests and how they hated their jobs. Overall, it was not a good experience.

Very clean room.. Friendly staff. Amazing breakfast.. we had a company x mas party at the DoubleTree, and they totally botched our reservation we quickly called La Quinta and they took us in on the spot but very helpful. Will never stay at a DoubleTree as long as I live.

What a nice experience! Each person we encountered during our stay was genuinely friendly and accommodating, so much so that it stood out. The property was clean and comfortable. The breakfast, which was included, had plenty to choose from. We would definitely go back.

On the plus side - excellent staff, clean and comfortable bedroom and public areas, decent hotel breakfast. Location convenient to downtown and extended family in area. Plenty of free parking. Great shower (no tub).
On the down side: Mold in bathroom corners. Family members on third floor complained about musty hallway (big dryers) and room - seems there has been a water problem. No staff keeping an eye on breakfast room so tables were not wiped down after guests left.
Worst: Partying next door neighbors from 3-4:30 am. Staff needs to monitor hallways periodically throughout night. Other guests seemed pleasant.
Families were using the pool, though we had received an email that it was closed. AC in workout room broken.
Nice people, great location, overall good hotel - but that sleepless night means that we will go elsewhere next time.
