I wasn’t as impressed as I thought I’d be. The reception was kinda weird. It felt like most of the staff are temporary workers and not really a career. It’s a really small town and all the other towns around it are even smaller. You can eat at the 2 restaurants in the hotel or go into town and have a choice of 4-5 at most. Not sure why the town is so popular. Not much to do there. Anyways the hotel room was big and they have a nice heated pool with an incredible view but that was about it. I also thought the room could use a facelift. It is one of their oldest property.

Got married here! Best decision of my life… the entire place is stunning beautiful and everything was absolutely perfect! The staff was incredible and Melanie helped with the wedding coordination and acted as a wedding planner! She was incredible and the rest of the staff was just as great! Highly recommend this place and we will be back!

This is the worst of the Aman properties. It is one of the older Amans and hasn't been updated. When I went during the winter season the hot water went down for the entire 3 days I was there and the internet was also not working. General Manager is terrible and unaccommodating! Don't waste your time here

My wife and her mother stayed here in 2016, and even then, she didn't exactly come back gushing about her stay. While there is nothing inherently wrong with Amangani, it's just not a place that is particularly memorable. Service is adequate, the hard product is aging but is decently maintained, and the food is as awful as my wife remembered it (I was also not impressed.) We stayed in the Spring Gulch Suite, which is arguably the best room on site. Having stayed in the exact same room last time, my wife was really hoping to try the Amangani Suite, since it's the only one that supposedly offers views of the Teton Range. Unfortunately, by the time we tried to book (about 4 months out), it had already been taken. Why do all of the other rooms not have Teton views, you ask? First is the location - it's actually about 25 minutes away (by vehicle) to the first viewpoint - it's closer to Jackson than it is to Grand Teton N.P. Secondly, the property is angled in a way where it faces away from the Tetons - you do get a very nice view of mountains and the valley below, but be aware that it is not a view of the Tetons. Aside from that, the room was adequate. One thing we don't like about most Amans is their lack of true Suites. What they call Suites are actually junior suites - it's an open plan room where the living room and bedroom is in one (large) shared space, which is inconvenient during times when I want to do my own thing (i.e. work or be on conference calls) and she wants to do her thing (sleep, watch Netflix, etc.) On the positive side, our unit had two separate bathrooms, which my wife always appreciates (as I said, she's a clean freak!) Since we rented a vehicle and have been to Grand Teton (and Yellowstone) several times before, we did not avail ourselves to any specific Aman experiences. Keep in mind that none of the experiences they offer are particularly exclusive - you can either do it yourself, or hire a local tour company to provide the same experience at a much lower price. Given our familiarity with the area, we also did not need any concierge-style services. The staff were friendly and professional overall; they fulfilled every one of our requests with competence. That said, we never got a sense of familiarity with the staff as we have at other Amans - there seemed to be constant shifts and rotations of people on duty to the point where we were asked our room number on numerous occasions (Amans are known for not asking because they do/should know who you are.) The two things that stand out that are not luxury-like are the food and room amenities. The restaurant is not bad, but the offerings are extremely limited and the quality is hit and miss. Since Amangani is about a half our from Jackson Hole, we were hoping to spend most of our evenings having dinner in their restaurant or in our rooms, but rather than looking forward to it, we instead sort of tolerated it. Everything we ordered also we quite rich and heavy, which is something

Superb hotel with incredible service. Room and view were incredible. Highly recommend! A moose family had moved into the property so we were constantly able to see them at a safe distance. Our package included breakfast which was excellent. The hotel also provides a complimentary continental breakfast in the lobby. Pricey but worth it. Dinner was pricey but the view from the restaurant was amazing.

Horrific service - they were so incredibly rude (refusing to serve drinks based on being full when only 2 people were in the bar) - we offered other solutions thinking that they may just be short on servers - but they were very dramatic about not serving us. We have stayed at the Aman in T&C and in Asia but will NEVER stay at an Aman again. Beautiful views - gorgeous pool but not worth it. Which is a huge bummer because I’ve wanted to go to Amangiri.

We stayed here pre covid in the summer. Loved our stay. They have a very thoughtful snack bar in the lounge with tons of snacks to fuel you for your day at the national park. Picture perfect hotel, beautiful landscape. Service is great as per Aman.

For the last three nights of our visit to Jackson, we transitioned to the Amangani. What a wonderful experience from start to finish! Everyone we encountered was warm, friendly, and helpful. The experience started with pick up from our hotel in downtown Jackson. We were greeted by the General Manager and escorted to check in. Our room wasn't quite ready so we were given a refreshing cool drink, a tour of the property, and encouraged to relax. Within an hour, they called to let us know our room was ready. Our room was gorgeous with a beautiful view of the mountains and valley below. I think I could have spent the entire time on the balcony! We had spa reservations for a message that afternoon and my husband and I thought the experience rivaled the best at other resorts. We had a delicious lunch at the Grill (more in a separate review on that experience). We had chosen to not rent a car and the hotel took us to our dinner reservation in Teton Village and came to pick us up. We were delighted to come back to a gift (each night) from the turndown service. What a lovely surprise! It was also my birthday during the trip (not while we were at the hotel) and, upon learning this information, they treated us to a sweets platter and Champagne. All non-alcoholic beverages are available at no charge as well as the snacks provided in the room. While we did not use the Fitness Center, it was well-equipped and included a Peloton Bike. The grounds are gorgeous and they also have a very nice pool and hot tub set-up. Before we left, we were already talking about going back!

We had a wonderful 4 night stay here. Location is extraordinary with beautiful infinity pool. Food was elegant (if a bit expensive). But what really makes this place special are the staff -- Julie, MJ, Rachel advised and greeted us by name. Valet always had our car ready. Dining room servers were so friendly...>. THANK YOU My only suggestion is that AMAN invest and upgrade the spa.... needs a sauna, cold plunge etc.
