We arrived here after a horrific trip (Eurotunnel mayhem) and were received so welcomingly. The owner rescued the last two croissants for us, picked the quietest rooms for us to recover, and later recommended where (not) to go for eating outdoors. It's a small town with a few good places to eat (we went to the Oude Sint Pieter, which has exquisit beers and, well, pub food). The rooms are very comfortable, with aircon that works and is quiet (neither of which we have seen in our many hotel visits in the last few years), and the shower! Exactly what we needed after having spent waaaaaay too much time in traffic. Parking is right in front of the hotel. The breakfast is excellent quality (not the widest choice but it'll please everyone). Big compliment to the owner!
