Islamabad Regalia Hotel

I was going to wait until I completed my stay to write a review but compelled to make a start due to the excellent service that has been given thus far. The hotel itself is in a quiet street in islamabad with gated entry and exit. It has an essence of luxury and cleanliness that is consistent throughout the establishment. After my first night, a staff member enquired about how my stay was, to which I highlighted a very small issue with some noise in my room. This was brought to the attention of the manager ”Hamza” who looked to resolve my issue by offering me another room that was, in fact, larger and on a better side of the hotel. The hotel followed up on my satisfaction with my new room later in the day and looked to further improve on my stay by providing complimentary dinners and snacks to my room. Whilst I am sure I would have been somewhat content with my stay if the issue was left unresolved. This for me has placed this hotel as a must stay in islamabad for those looking for a peaceful setting and great customer service.

If this hotel is in Geneva, I would write some reviews like “big room, a bit noisy, very shabby, very cheap,” but, this hotel is in Islamabad, I need to describe it in more detail. Once a luxury hotel, it has been worn down by the years, and there are more staff than European hotels, so you don't have to wait for staff to process your request. Also, don't be scared by the castle-like entrance, the hotel and restaurant are very lively, the breakfast options are varied, although for travelers from Europe, breakfast is mostly ”exotic” food, and many shops and ATMs are within walking distance, but some are a bit hidden.

The location of the hotel is very good, very clean and the environment is very good, next to the golf course, the environment is excellent. The breakfast is very rich and the service is good. Very safe and secure service is in place. There is hotel shuttle service. It feels worth it anyway.

The hotel is huge and probably good for the convention purpose. Breakfast buffet is full of choices and taste okay. Staff is friendly and helpful. Very commercial feeling when you contact with the front desk or reception. Not charms of service. What impressed us were the staff at the breakfast, Ilyes and other young staff. Niva from the executive lounge was wonderfully helpful. We requested for the airport drop upon the check in. The staff told us to reconfirm the staff at the check out. Upon the check out, the staff told us there was no booking at all. And the shuttle s schedule doesn’t match out flight and asked us to rent the our own. Lastly, the guy who checked us out tried to do many rooms’ at the same time and kept asking us the room number. The guy and his colleague were impolite and not helping to us. Unfortunately, this is the most unpleasant experience from the stay!!! Otherwise, we would have a great time and could tell others to come. Last but not least, no matter what elite membership you have, you wouldn’t have any privilege or honored here also.

The boss is very nice and enthusiastic! It will also give you more choices based on your financial situation. To be honest, although it is not as magnificent as a luxurious star hotel, I feel like I am a guest at my old Ba's house! Personally, I feel good about the hygiene, just like your relative's home in the county. Facilities: bathroom heater, toilet, air conditioner, fan, basic facilities are all there, but I didn't ask how to wash clothes! I was hesitating whether to wash it by hand or by machine. It was my third day here, so there was no need for it. The service is very enthusiastic and the boss is very kind. There are basically self-built houses outside the street, all with different personalities! Not as uniform as the countryside! Everyone must have his or her own philosophy!
