"A great hotel in a great location. From the station to the hotel we just hopped on a no.1 tram which stopped just round the corner from the hotel and only cost 240Y per person. We quickly found the check in on the 14th floor. We were warmly welcomed and given tokens to buy a drink, so gin & tonic & beer on the rooftop it was. Lovely! Our room was a reasonable size, although no shelves for clothing, but did have a seated area so you could sit comfortably. The food here was fabulous for breakfast and dinner - More Than on the ground level. The staff there were excellent. Nice to be able to choose to eat outside watching the world go by. Check out was simple, just drop your key in a box in the lift. Highly recommend this hotel."

"The hotel is good. The room is old, but neat and clean. The transport location is excellent – the ferry to the island is nearby, as well as buses to the train station. There are cafes and canteens nearby. There is a laundry room both inside the hotel and right next to it."

"The staff are really nice and helpful! My partner was suffering from stomachaches and diarrhoea after having sushi and sashimi, but it’s very difficult for a non-local to seek medical consultation in foreign countries. The receptionist, Mr Inuyama, helped us to find the nearest doctor with care and sympathy. My partner finally got better on the last day of Hiroshima trip. However, there is room for improvement in the cleanliness, the carpet has some stains. Overall a good hotel, strongly recommended."

"Getting here from Hiroshima Station is very convenient. A taxi ride is only about 1300 yen, so for three people with luggage, I'd definitely recommend taking one. The room facilities were decent, and the service was very welcoming. Breakfast is served on the 25th floor and offers a fantastic view. They also have daily activities, but I didn't get around to joining any."

"Just a little far from the train station as you'll need to cross a bridge to get to the riverside. The breakfast has a good spread with international and local food options. Room was fantastic, very clean and new. With premium amenities. A plus point - the hotel reception staff had exceptional service. "The location is perfect, just 5 min walk from Hiroshima Station and 1 min walk to local train. It is surrounded by the shops and restaurants. One thing I concerned is the air-conditioning system. The air-conditioning in our rooms (3 rooms) was a heater. I try to change it to air-conditioning mode, but the reception said it is controlled by the hotel. If other guests are using heater mode, we cannot change to cool mode at all. Our only solution is opening the window which is much better because the weather outside was so cool, but we have to be disturbed by the traffic and pedestrians noise as the hotel is located alongside the main road. The restaurant downstairs is excellent with tasty food and reasonable price. You can grab a good breakfast and then go explore the city. Family mart is nearby just across the road. This is the convenient one."

"This Hotel is fantastic and I’d absolutely stay here again. The onsen on the top floor features a large communal bath and a sauna. The bed is very comfortable and there’s also a mini fridge for chilling drinks. They have a self service Laundry with separate dryers on the ground floor next to the rather unused Internet lounge. The breakfast in the morning was very filling with a great variety of soups, salads, congee, breads and proteins. It’s only a short stroll to Hiroshima Station for a great range of local delicacies like Okonomiyaki. Staff were attentive and helpful speaking a little English. Will gladly stay again. Arigato Gozaimasu!"

"Satisfied. The hotel is conveniently located very close to the station. The staff were friendly and helpful, and although the room was compact, it was spotlessly clean. A tram stop right outside makes it incredibly easy to get to the Atomic Bomb Dome and Miyajima. I would definitely choose to stay here again."

"Let's start with the positives. The hotel's price is very reasonable, especially for families with two children who often struggle to find suitable rooms and prices. Most hotel systems would split you into two rooms (one adult, one child), but here, you get a 30 sqm room with two beds, accommodating two adults and two children at a fair price. If you book early, breakfast for two is even included. Every day from 3 PM to 9 PM, there are free drinks and cookies in the lobby for guests to relax and enjoy. You can even try 'Little Boy,' a lactic acid drink that's a Hiroshima specialty. The hotel is right by Nagarekawa Street, and it's not far to Hon-dori shopping street, making it super convenient for dining, drinking, and entertainment. The downside is its distance from public transportation. It's a few hundred meters walk to the tram, and getting to the JR station requires either a taxi or a bus from outside the hotel. A taxi to the JR station is about 1000 JPY, which isn't too bad. For city attractions like the Peace Memorial Park and museums, you can either walk or take a taxi directly. The rooms are a bit old-fashioned, but everything else is fine. So, even though you have to take a taxi to the JR station every day, the room rate is low enough that it still works out to be a good deal."

BBel ZI stayed here solo and absolutely loved the experience. The location is super convenient—just a few minutes’ walk from the station, which made day trips and late arrivals stress-free. The hostel has a warm, minimalist Japanese aesthetic, and the common area is cozy and social without being noisy. Staff were friendly and spoke good English, and the check-in process was smooth. The dorm beds had privacy curtains, reading lights, and lockers—perfect for solo travelers. Everything was clean and well-kept. Highly recommend if you’re traveling alone and want both comfort and convenience.

The location is excellent, right next to the station with plenty of dining options nearby, and the hotel's own restaurant is superb. The bedding and pillows in the room were incredibly comfortable, truly impressive – I even considered buying some to take home! The environment was clean and hygienic, and the windows were so spotless they seemed to disappear, giving me a fantastic impression of Hiroshima overall. The only minor downsides were the hairdryer wasn't great, and the shampoo and shower gel weren't big brands, leaving my hair a bit stiff.

OOsama BoussifThe hotel was located next to Hiroshima Station, which was very convenient. On the opposite street, there is a Lawson and a 7-Eleven, which was really nice. About the hotel itself, it was clean, well-maintained, and the rooms were spacious enough for two people with two large suitcases. The room had all the amenities we needed. We absolutely loved two things in this hotel that we didn’t experience in other hotels, or at least not as nicely. First, the pyjamas were amazing! Normally in Japan, you get a bathrobe-style or lab coat-style pyjama, but this hotel provided a really comfortable two-piece set with a long short and T-shirt, which both my partner and I loved. The second thing we really liked was the bench with an integrated table, which was super convenient for having breakfast or meals in the room. There were two things we didn’t like about this hotel. We stayed for three nights and did not request room cleaning, which you would assume would make things easier for the cleaning staff. We made sure to put all our used towels in a plastic bag every day and also our garbage outside the door so we could get fresh towels. On one occasion, we didn’t receive a pyjama, which was fine, so I went downstairs to the reception to get it. On another occasion, a towel we left on the floor was not replaced, and I didn’t bother going to reception for it. The second issue was the laundry machine. While the hotel has an excellent system to check availability and timing for each machine on the 10th floor, the machine itself was not very effective. I had less than 1 kg of clothes and used the ＜1 kg option, which takes 80 minutes to wash and dry, but after 80 minutes, my clothes were still very wet. I then used the 30-minute drying option, but even after that, they were still damp. These were just underwear, socks, and two very thin sweaters, no jeans or thick items, yet the machine struggled to dry them in 110 minutes. In the end, I gave up and took the laundry with me to my next destination. One small other issue: on the second night, YouTube stopped working, and we were unable to watch TV at all in the room, and this was not fixed, even after turning the TV on and off.

The second-floor entrance/exit is right next to the Shinkansen exit, and the first-floor exit leads directly to the Hiroshima Loop Bus stop, making transportation incredibly convenient. The front desk offers service in both Japanese and English. The gentleman who checked me in spoke excellent English, making communication a breeze. When I forgot my room key card, he quickly helped me get a new one, and at check-out, they promptly stored my luggage for me. The room was perfectly spacious for a single person, with all the necessary amenities and plenty of outlets everywhere for charging devices. I'll definitely choose this hotel again if I come back.

The room wasn't huge, but the bathroom was spacious enough for both showering and taking a bath. They offer self-service coffee and green tea in the lobby, which is very convenient. Breakfast was plentiful and served on the top floor, where the ambiance was great and you could enjoy city views while eating.

The room doesn't have wardrobes or much space for large suitcases, but it's perfectly fine for travelers with smaller luggage. The hotel offers two washing machines and two dryers; however, expect queues in the evenings, so doing laundry in the morning or afternoon is recommended. Overall, I have wonderful memories of my stay.

AAnonymous UserI recently stayed at Capsule Hotel Cube Hiroshima for a few nights—this was my second visit. Overall, it’s a great place, but a few small issues have started to surface. Positives: The staff are wonderful—friendly and attentive. You receive fresh towels, pajamas, and cleaning amenities daily. Good location, making it convenient for exploring Hiroshima. Areas for Improvement: Limited showers: Only three per floor, shared by many guests. At peak times, you might wait over an hour, and by then, the showers can be a bit dirty (e.g., hair left behind). Laundry bottleneck: Each floor has just one washer and dryer. The dryer is especially slow—it took four 30-minute cycles just to dry six t-shirts. Vending machines lack variety: No cola or Pepsi—just beer and water. Not a major issue, but worth noting. Fridge access is inconvenient: The communal fridge is behind reception, meaning you must hand over items to staff. A small fridge on each floor would be much more practical. Worn-out mattresses: The memory foam mattresses have sunk in from overuse. They haven’t been flipped or replaced, which leads to uncomfortable sleep and back/hip pain. Final Thoughts: Despite these downsides, I would stay here again. However, guests should be prepared for some minor inconveniences. If the hotel made a few simple upgrades—like replacing mattresses, improving laundry facilities, and adding accessible fridges—it could easily be one of the best capsule hotels in Hiroshima.

Room was lovely, clean, has small window, but not an issue. Breakfast was standard, and staff were polite. Shops and restaurants on road, easy to walk to memorial park, about 15 minutes, 3 stops from main train station, easy to navigate to Miyajimaguchi island. Wonderful two days.

SshiningstatIt was one of the best hotels I ever slept in Japan. Usually, we try 3 to 5 star hotels in every local capital city. This one is of course famous Prince hotel but it is quite away from the city center yet situated in the most beautiful area of Hiroshima. From the hotel rooms we could see the skyline of the town and the sea. Breakfast is served on the top floor you can choose traditional Japanese (Nadaman/super famous Japanese restaurant) or western style buffet breakfast. With a little supplemental fee, I could go to Onsen (hotspring) and it was soo relaxing and the view was stunning. You even can sail to Miyajima island from this hotel port.

LlkjidmThis was my second stay at a Livemax hotel, and it was excellent once again! This time, I chose the branch located in Funairi-machi. The location is superb, conveniently close to both Funairi-machi Station (Line 6) and Komachi Station (Line 2). The surrounding area offers plenty of dining options, parks, beautiful river views, and even drugstores. The service was good, and the facilities were comprehensive. I especially appreciated the large TV, which made for a very comfortable viewing experience. The only minor drawback was that the duvet had a somewhat strange texture and wasn't as comfortable as I'd hoped. Aside from that, there's absolutely nothing to complain about. It's truly an unbeatable choice for anyone visiting Hiroshima!
