Probably my 10th stay at this hotel. It’s been rather rustic and run by the same family for ages. However the pandemic has changed things - some for the better some for the worse Better - easier passage from main entrance to rooms in the east wing and spa - well functioning free parking Worse - all staff seem new and not very well trained - on check out the bill included my already prepaid room and the lady did not, at first, understand that this was wrong - renovated room. Nowhere to place clothes etc. No shelves- no cupboards. Glass “door” to bathroom with 30 cm open space at top and bottom. Weird, even when traveling w spouse. Very cold, icy electrical light in room. You hear other rooms very well. We twice woke up 5 45 from an alarm clock somewhere else. Never happened in any hotel room before.

This hotel should not be advertised as a Bed and Breakfast. Breakfast here is an optional extra, with an additional £300 a week expected for a family of four. No bar, no food, poor facilities and bedding that can only be described as pure punishing. The staff are friendly and the place is clean but my family will most certainly not be returning.

We booked a Panorama Deluxe room for 3 nights, checking in on Sept. 20th. The property is centrally located along the train station and features a parking directly connected by elevator. The “piece de resistance” of this tall building is clearly its stunning view on the town and surrounding mountains. We were lodged in room 1104 on the 11.th floor which is the top floor featuring rooms, as the 12th accommodates the lounge/restaurant where breakfast is also served. Curiously, the hotel doesn’t have a lobby in a traditional sense: the concierge & cashier counter can be found in a small separate office on the basement and the elevators to the rooms are located in a small hall, across a glass door, which opens directly on Brunecker Street. Access security to the floors being managed by room key-card, you can enter/exit the property and the parking with no contact to any staff at all. Our room was a corner one, rather large, beautifully architected and nicely furnished in a contemporary metropolitan style. From virtually any point of the room (bathroom included) it was possible to spot some additional detail of the stunning panorama. The room was comfortable and quiet (in spite of the near busy train station), breakfast was good and we definitively had a very good time here in Innsbruck.

Hotel Goldener Engl is situated in the centre of Hall in Tirol, a beautiful historical town surrounded by majestic mountains of the Alps in the vicinity of Innsbruck - just 10 minutes ride with S-Bahn. The building of the hotel is a historical castle and is a member of historic hotels of Europe. I was greeted by a very welcoming, friendly, kind, helpful and professional staff. The check-in process was very quick and smooth also thanks to an option to fill in the information online, prior to arrival. I was lucky enough to get the best suite in the hotel which was a beautiful, spacious, attic rustic room equipped with a big relaxing bath tube as well es a sauna directly in the room, separated toilet and a bathroom, comfortable bed and soundproof wall isolation. I was on a business trip and found it very relaxing hearing the raindrops on the attic windows in a pleasantly heated room and having a possibility of using a private sauna after a tiring day. This room is like your energizing oasis relaxing and refreshing your mind, body and soul. After a good sleep in a big and comfortable bed I enjoyed a tasteful tirol breakfast with individual serving and plentiful choice keeping me satiated until the afternoon. The public transport connections are very good, easy and punctual. The hotel has its own very good restaurant but there are good restaurants within a walking distance from the hotel too. The centre of Hall in Tirol is a small historic and picturesque one with winding streets and traditional small handicraft shops. I travelled to Hall in Tirol in the middle of November and my experience was exceptional. I felt like a queen in my unique hotel room and after my three night stay I did not really want to check out. :-) It surely was one of the best and unforgettable hotel stays I experienced until now and I will be very happy to come back again. We were a night guest in this hotel. stage 12 is located in the centre of the city. At the reception we were very friendly. The room was cozy, modernly furnished, clean and very quiet. There was something for breakfast. I am particularly pleased about a large selection of fruits. When we come back to Innsbruck, we will be nighting back in the hotel, especially because of its location and friendliness. In the place, a nice thank you for the upgrade. The room with views on the mountains was impressive.

We stayed in the hotel for 2 days and the restaurant convinced us to spend a night extra. The hotel itself is very nice with glass and wood, really ”authentic”. The comfortable room with wood and a very sympathetic disguised style. The big weak point is the bathroom, which in turn the deep side becomes deteriorating. The hotel was very clean and the toilets are very low and the shower is very close ... but it's done well..Conclusion: Hotel that looks out of time, hot staff and family atmosphere, really very pleasant restaurant with very good and exquisite Austrian dishes, even with a baby

Driving from Italy to Innsbruck, the city is not big, the hotel is on the edge of the airport, looking for the hotel entrance to open the second car has not seen, and finally found a lot of steps in the lobby, the door to the elevator is locked You can only take heavy luggage to the hotel lobby, and the free parking lot is across the road. The room is OK, the breakfast is not bad.
