The name of the hotel is a bit hard to pronounce. We booked a suite and my parents stayed in it quite comfortably. The children were very happy to sleep on the tatami, saying it was their own secret space. The price is a bit expensive, but fortunately the room is really big. I think I can fit in one more room. The only drawback is that the weather is not very good, it is a bit drizzly. I hope that when the weather is good, I can accompany my family to visit the Reef Bar again. Let’s see if the Reef Bar that mom said is as good-looking as this.

Brand new hotel, with nice green gardens. The rooms are modern and well equipped. Direct access to the sea, even though it is not allowed to swim. The swimming pool is not so big, but not crowded, knowing that the biggest part is kept for kayak rental. The staff at the lobby and the restaurant is kind, but the lifeguards not so much. The breakfast buffet is good, with Western food, as well as the dinner. Unfortunately, no cocktail at the bars, no room service and very few choices of finger foods. The biggest downside are all the fireworks in front of the hotel, for several hours, even past midnight.

We had a great time staying at the beautiful Howard Johnson Sandalwoods. The complex is large with many waterslides for young children to play in. However, during winter season most of the pools are closed. The beach belonging to the hotel is also clean. The breakfast spread is fantastic, with a good mixture of chinese and western cuisine. Mina the receptionist manager was very helpful in granting us special checkout extension till 3.30pm as my sister was feeling unwell during checkout and need more time to rest. I will definitely be back again and bring my children along.

This place was amazing. Upon check in, I realized I didn't reserve the room I wanted. My mistake, as I wanted a deluxe room, but ended up reserving a regular room(no bathtub). I really wanted that tub. The front desk agent, Karry was able to make things happen, and I ended up with an even better upgrade than I could hope for. I was staying at the hotel with my wife and daughter, so I got upgraded to a suite. Incredible room, and that tub was everything I was hoping for. The amenities at Dusit Thani were great too. Fisherman's cave-great dinner buffet. The water park was stupendous, proximity to the beach - again, great. I could write a book about how great this hotel was, and I don't think I would stay anywhere else on a return trip to Huizhou. Special shout out to Karry for bringing the magic to my family's vacation.

We stayed for 2 night (6th Oct - 8 Oct)the hotel is excellent, Andy the manager and PC the front desk,they both very kind,give us very late check out while we're waiting for the taxi which delayed for 3 hours (till 6 pm)and help us to deal with the taxi driver. The room is big and clean,breakfast with a lot of option (western and Chinese),swimming pool is very good and beach in front of the hotel is clean. We'll high recommended. It's perfect for long stay or even just for weekend.

We booked a single room on the 6th floor on Ctrip in advance. When we arrived, the beautiful lady at the front desk helped me upgrade to a sea view room on the 16th floor.
