I stay here as nearby big city mall, but to my surprise the hotel provide a good morning breakfast especially to those milk tea lover, as diy bubble milk tea is available here.

location is about 17min walk from the East gate market. There is a mall nearby though.
Hotel room is big and luxurious with nice bathroom amenities.
Hotel was quite accommodating in allowing a late check out but only by 1 hr.

First time stayed at Hsinchu, the overall staying experience is good. Hotel is very clean, there are few convenience shops and restaurant nearby. 10 mins Walking distance to train station. Also one mega city mall also can be reached by walk.

No complaints on the overall services and amenities.
Just found that the breakfast spread is lesser compare to the last stay few years back. No more raw fish this round.
Food at the Japanese restaurant and the bear at the pub are good
