The whole hotel had a “burnt” smell to it. The room I was given - the safe was not working and neither was the bathroom door lock. Aside from that the bed was comfy - all and all it was a basic experience for a room that was overpriced. I give it 3 stars. Great walking distance to the Galleria.

The equipment is very new, the sanitation is very good, it is close to the highway, the noise is a bit loud, but the sound insulation of the room is not bad. The sound of the air conditioner is also very small, so I slept well. It is relatively comfortable in a motel hotel. The location is very convenient. Not far from China Town and the city center. No napkins. There is a problem with the design of the bathroom room, with transparent glass and a mirror facing the bed. The quilt was very thin, so I asked the front desk for another bed. Breakfast is not considered breakfast. Ask the front desk, if there is no breakfast, it is just bagged cakes and fruits for customers. This price is relatively high cost performance.

Stay was beyond excellent. The room was clean, fresh smelling and the bed super comfortable. Staff were friendly and professional. Shout out to David who gave us a warm welcome. Hotel does NOT charge for parking, which is highly unusual. The hotel offers a parking garage and surface parking behind the hotel. The location is very convenient. Without traffic it was only a 15 minute drive to downtown, 10 minutes to the Galleria and 10 minutes to Memorial Park. The challenge is navigating the frontage roads to actually get to the hotel, but Waze or Google Maps was spot on with the guidance. The hotel definitely has an older architectural style, but the rooms are super clean and well maintained. The concierge lounge is stocked with sodas, flavored water and snacks. Soundproofing was sufficient that we never were bothered by the freeway noise! We stay at dozens of hotels on an annual basis, and this hotel is simply one of the best run properties we have experienced. Definitely would recommend this property and stay here again.

Hotel location in the city center, not much to eat on weekends. And there's nothing to visit downtown Houston. There is no good green space. Fortunately, it's still close to the museum area.

They were not only eager to assist with any issues that arose but also went above and beyond by providing bicycles. This thoughtful touch significantly enhanced my mobility around Houston, allowing me to reach various destinations swiftly. I booked this hotel for my family visiting from out of state. I live 2 minutes from hotel and couldn’t the price was so great. I even rode by hotel late at night just to check it out. I needed a downstairs handicap room . I booked online on hotel site and could not believe the price I received for 5 nights. After I checked in and saw room my sister begged me to stay with them at night I went to office and with no problem paid for extra person and stayed with them at night. I had great experience . Room was super clean , no complaints at all. My sister enjoyed her stay and also had no complaints . I did have coffee in the morning as I don’t eat breakfast. I did see toast , cereal oatmeal,donuts and I think there was waffles .This is maybe 15 min from airport therefore a lot of guest were prob there just for night. I have always stayed in nice hotels and this is one I would definitely stay at again .

Was in town for a conference; room was clean, comfortable and met my needs. Rooms on lower floors can be noisy with street trolley. Convenient location; walking distance to convention center. Although I was not parking with the hotel, Drew at the Valet station was so helpful. He brought my bags in upon arrival. For some reason, every Uber I called stopped at the hotel on the opposite corner. Drew ran across to summon car to us, so my colleague and I would not have to walk over. He also was helpful with directions and recommendations for late night bites (everything seemed to shut down early downtown). The staff at the front desk were friendly and helpful as well. Would stay again.
