The entire stay was perfect! The Houstonian is rich in heritage and the hotel represents the wealth and historic growth of Texas statehood as well as the influx and cultural diversity of modern day entrepreneurs. The guest rooms felt newly renovated with technical modernization. The attention to detail in design and layout was, as mentioned, perfect. We were lucky enough to stay in the “Bush Suite” which boasts a culmination of George Bush Sr and the connection he had with the Houstonian. Tribute restaurant proved to be an exceptional dining experience. I recommend the Rohan duck with side of jalapeño potato gratin. The Trellis spa offers ultimate relaxation and has a variety of services, as well as soaking pools. The Club is their premier amenity - personal trainers, tennis courts, pools, cycling, yoga, a myriad of wellness classes, not to mention 185,000 square feet of fitness space. If you ever wanted an extra dose of endorphins…you’ll find it at the Club Houstonian. The service was exemplary, to highlight a few; Janet at the front desk, Eduardo/Rene (spot-on execution and thoughtfulness), and Gonzo in the Tribute restaurant, Mason at the bell desk (contagious positive demeanor), and Courtney (amazing therapist) in the spa. There seems to be a lot of tenure at the Houstonian as most of the staff are confident and authentic in their labors. One can tell, the staff love what they do and exhibit the complimentary nature of true Texans.

The Houstonian is nothing short of an oasis. It feels like a home away from home, but better. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. The entire property is clean and welcoming. The food - to die for! We hosted a week long corporate event and we could not have been more thrilled with how everything turned out. From the meeting space, Wifi, all food and beverages and events we planned, there were no unexpected issues we ran into. We will definitely be back again soon!

It's our 3rd time to stay in this hotel and we are very happy with their service. The staff were exceptional, they are friendly and attentive. From front desk, housekeeping, maintenance, restaurant. ...Especially the guard on morning shift and Daryll. We will surely come back and stay in this hotel.

We attended a beautiful wedding at the hotel. The grounds and the hotel are elegant. The food was what I would describe as wedding food. I realize it is difficult to prepare a hot meal for a large group.

I travel a significant amount for work and pleasure and this was the best experience I have had in years. From the ambiance to the hotel staff, this was a fantastic stay! I highly recommend this property for business or personal travel. The restaurant was fabulous, all of the dishes were delicious and the servers were so friendly and accomodating.

Excellent hotel which offer many amenities and options for everyone. The Houstonian is a great place for a family trip, business trip, or just a get away. The pools and facilities are very nice and well maintained. I would recommend it to anyone wanting a great place to stay in a central location in Houston. I would definitely return.

Best hotel experience in the US ever. The attention to detail is outstanding. Always good suggestion from the staff. Notes of appreciation and sayings. Ice filled in you ice bucket. Great internet connection. Overall, outstanding at a price. Treat your family and treat yourself.
