The lady at the front desk (should be the proprietress) has warm service and the food is super delicious. The hotel should be considered the most upscale in the local area, the price is not high, and the western style breakfast is next to the port. We went directly out of Laos and entered Thailand, and stayed there when we came back. It was perfect! The entire mountain, the car can be parked casually.

Hotel is dated but is clean. Reception man was very helpful, can book slow boat tickets here. Slow boat ticket to luang prabang is 400000kip from the pier and from hotel was 440000 including a lift to the boat. Hotel is basic but priced accordingly. Would I stay again yes, would I recommend to friends yes.
