Let me start by saying I travel a lot and we are frequent visitors and loyal to the Marriott brand and this hotel proves why! Alvin and staff provided outstanding customer service to ensure we had the best room possible for our stay. These associates treat you like family and always make our stay memorable by the service they provided. Upon arrival we were greeted with outstanding customer service from the time we arrived until check out. The staff are amazing employees who make you feel like you are the only customer in the hotel thanking us for being Elite customers and going out of their way to ensure our stay was outstanding.. The room is the most comfortable relaxing place we have ever stayed. The room is extremely spacious, comfortable, clean and the balcony furniture was nice to relax with a glass of wine and read. Our housekeepers were outstanding at ensuring our room was always clean. Bed and pillows were divine and room so comfortable we felt like we were at home. We appreciated the microwave and fridge. Fantastic property that is friendly, well maintained and relaxing. This hotel is located near several restaurants and shopping. Lots of easy free parking. One thing we truly appreciated is they understand people love and travel with their dogs and are a pet friendly hotel. Mr Marriott would be so proud of this wonderful hotel where you truly feel appreciated and valued. The manager is incredible and definitely sets the tone for 5 star customer service as every employee treated us so nice. When in the area this will always be my go to hotel and home away from home. Thank you to all the employees for making our stay comfortable and relaxing. We will be back.

Fantastic stay. Great unexpected view from Pine building 8th floor. Bedrooms are very big. Nice big dinner table to put a lot of stuff on not for eating. Kitchen works fine for short stays. Complex is great with lots of open space. Pools were great. Quiet pool was nice to have. Very nice and helpful staff. Only 2 elevators, but they do run fast. Lots of luggage and food carts for loading and unloading. Lots of close parking, but were there in September. Great location for central and north Myrtle Beach. Food onsite was good and not over priced for Marriott. Driving is a must for more selection.

This was a hidden gem that we overlooked in the past due to the location being off the beach. With that being said, it clearly needs some improvements for which they made it clear by posting their intentions and ideas. The entrance is inviting and spacious. The check-in process was easy, and the employees were very nice and inviting. Our room was nice and clean, but the view was AMAZING!!! Now for the hard part. I do believe the beds were full size, not queens. I hope that is part of the updates. My husband and I are much smaller than we used to be, but had we been hefty people we would not have made it with our two older kids, someone would have been on the floor, or we would have had to get another room. With that being said it was not a good sleep. The bathrooms need to be upgraded quick! My daughter and I stubbed our toe on the entry way several times but left her with a bruised big toe, which made us very aware to enter with caution after that. It was dark and dem, so lighting and lighter walls is a must. Parking in the front to check in was interesting. The only spacious spaces were handicap. The lines need to be redrawn on the first two spots. Someone parked next to us, and we had to climb over the seats to get into the driver's side...glad there were no cameras for that event. The parking deck seemed a mile away for someone who needed a handicapped spot. We didn't see any handicapped spaces in the deck, so that was interesting as well. There needs to be mirrors or some type of warning for cars approaching the corners and more lighting would be great. I would also suggest the elevator floors be looked at because one floor was a little warped and would kill someone with anxiety problems. Positive side...there was plenty of parking and the spots were a little more spacious. We had to park on the 4th floor which was an adventure. The signs made it seem like it was the end of the world once you got towards the top of the garage parking.

This was my little guys first spring break and first vacation and that’s to all the amenities offered at this hotel I’m the BEST MOMMY EVER! The pool area was everything and more! The game room was a nice time to waste time and have fun while it was raining. The views from the lobby during breakfast was beautiful and well as the balcony view from our room on the 19th floor and impeccable! Over all 10/10 . The only hiccup to mention was the Wi-Fi not working so well.

The GOOD - 1. Location, does not get better than this at Myrtle Beach. This is located at the end of the 'strip of myrtle beach' as is away from the crowds on Ocean blvd. 2. The hotel is well made in terms of design. Whatever you need is located at a convenient spot. Parking is close to the rooms in both the buildings, but costs you $10/night. 3. Good sleep quality, I got a good 8-hour sleep The BAD - 1. Condition of the rooms is awful. The carpet is the dirtiest I have ever seen in any hotel. Imagine the amount of dirt they hold and the air you will breathe inside the room! 2. No USB points. Clearly indicates that the hotel has not been upgraded for decades. Luckily, found one USB point in the alarm clock. 3. Room Service - The rooms are cleaned only when requested. I requested. The guy came, vacuumed the room, made the bed and left! Did not even collect the used towels from the floor or place new toiletries. The towels remained in the room until our check out. The UGLY - 1. Pool - Dirty pools and Ian (hurricane) was the excuse. Most other ocean front hotels had clean pools with people in them. The pools in this property were filled with filth and insects. The lazy river is actually the 'dirty river'. The pool was so called ”cleaned” after I complained, but it was still very dirty, so I just avoided to get in it. 2. Property Maintenance - This could potentially be the best resort in MB but it is so poorly maintained, it's a shame! One of the employees at Hilton Grand Vacations told me in this trip that this is meant to be the ”overflow property” of Hilton in MB and because it is so poor, it might be stripped off of the Hilton badge next year; can't say if it was true, but clearly indicates that employees are aware of the condition of this resort. Had this been a properly maintained resort, I would have stayed here during all my visits to MB, but I aint coming back!
The Holiday Inn Oceanfront at Surfside Beach is just steps to the sparkling SC coastline. Our guestrooms offer free high-speed internet, a mini-fridge, and a Keurig coffeemaker. The hotel is located 6 miles from the Myrtle Beach Airport (MYR) and close to all activities Myrtle Beach has to offer. Enjoy a day at Broadway at the Beach, get lost in the underwater world at Ripley’s Aquarium, or play a round of Golf at one of our many golf courses. Be sure to visit Murrells Inlet, the Seafood Capital of SC, just 5.5 miles south of the hotel. This once quiet fishing town has come alive as visitors walk down The Murrells Inlet MarshWalk in search of great food, fun and music. If your trip includes a bit of business, we offer a 24-hour business center. Our business travelers will find an easy drive to companies like Pepsi-Cola Bottling and Blue Cross Blue Shield. Complete your busy day with a workout in our new 24-hr Fitness Center. Unwind and enjoy our oceanfront deck that offers beautiful cabanas, an outdoor pool and hot tub, a large sun deck and a chance to relax in our Adirondack chairs around an oceanfront fire pit! While creating memories here, be sure to enjoy an ice-cold beverage poolside from our new restaurant, Saltaire Coastal Kitchen & Bar. Whether dining inside or on the deck, you will not be disappointed with our southern coastal cuisine and the beautiful ocean views.

We stayed there on Aug 9, right after hurricane. Taylor was fabulous! Our room got upgraded as there were many open due to cancellations from hurricane. 雨雨轩听晴Not to mention the location of the hotel, the beach is next to the sea, and the hotel itself has several swimming pools of different styles, suitable for children. The hotel is not far from the commercial area, and there are many fast food restaurants around. It is about a five-minute drive from the outlet, which is quite suitable for leisure vacation and parent-child travel. There are many parking spaces in the hotel, distributed in several different locations, but because of the high occupancy rate on the weekends, it is still a bit difficult to find parking spaces. Guests arriving at night can only stop by the hotel and move to the parking spaces the next morning. The hotel attendant will also call you to move the car. Breakfast is included in the room rate and is served at 7-10 o'clock. It is better than expected. The variety is very rich and the taste is very homely. It can basically meet the needs of people in different countries. The sea-view suite we lived on was on the 15th floor. The picture shows the view from the balcony. The building opposite is also the guest room of his house. The overall sanitary conditions and hardware configuration are good. Will choose this next time.
GGuest UserAbsolutely wonderful time! Location is perfect! Beachfront, walkable to stores, easy access to the hiway. Staff was very friendly, personable and accommodating. Parking was OK, they have 3 properties 1 building has to use Parking at the other properties...of course it was the 1 I stayed in but it's just next door or across the street. The restaurants food & drinks were great. Very clean. I checked in the night the Hurricane Ian hit Mytle Beach that morning. There was a leak in out hallway that saturated the carpet in the hallway outside our apt, Maintenance & Housekeeping were on the case before we even noticed it. I would definitely recommend & stay here again.
Very nice place. All the rooms pretty much overlooked the ocean view great outside pool and Beach area easy access to the beach and pool bars are great Cool breeze and beautiful views right down on the beach. The room is nice it's clean and ample spaced. One thing, the bathroom is very small and tight and very difficult to maneuver. But it is very clean and has a glass shower door, no curtain!! Bed is very comfortable too. Service is fine very early morning coffee starts at 6:00 a.m. for us East coasters which is really great especially when you have an early morning flight. Also very close to highway 17 with many restaurants and activities up there. About 15 to 20 minutes from the boardwalk in the Grand strand so easy access to that as well. Would definitely stay here again.
GGuest UserLoved the room. It was very clean, and we had fresh towels every day. I highly recommend this motel, for your next stay in North Myrtle Beach. Everyone was so friendly, too. The only problem that we had, was when a huge storm came through, and the window leaked at the top, but they took care of it, right away. Even though I was not in time, for the breakfast bar, that's in the motel, there is a wonderful pancake restaurant within walking distance, of the hotel. I think it was called Southern Sunrise. I highly recommend it. We have stayed at this hotel twice, now, and we love the pool, and the location. It's not that far from the beach, either...just a few blocks away, or you can drive to it. There's plenty of stores nearby, too. I give this motel 5 stars!
CCosgroveTomWish I had read my own review before booking this place. The hotel and the rooms were clean, and the staff is pleasant. King bed had some of the smallest pillows I've ever seen, that was weird. They've clearly invested a lot of money to convert something tired and run down into something nicer, but- walking through the building all we could muster was ”what have we done to ourselves”. When we pulled in the parking lot, we kind of already knew this place was going to be unique, just looking at the folks milling around the parking lot. This is not your hotel for a romantic weekend away...it's a stop, sleep, be gone hotel. Regretted booking non-refundable....I'd have never gone inside after pulling in the parking lot.
Landmark was amazing during our week of being displaced from Hurricane Helene while we had no power, water, internet, etc. Everyone was very kind we spoke with. We were there for a week and love the convenience to local shopping, restaurants and of course, the Grand Strand! Looking forward to the next time, but not as a hurricane evacuee! Thank you for an amazing stay in room Suite 946!
GGuest UserWe had a great time and the room was great, clean and comfortable! The elevators were fast, no wait time. The food was great, but a little pricey. I will be back!
My boyfriend and I stayed for an escape from it all getaway. Dana was amazing and so hospitable. Our room was newly renovated and the view was spectacular. We had a great time and look forward to coming back! The room was equipped with a desk, so I could still work. I have a work from home job. The lobby had Coffee, orange juice and bottled water all day. The hotel pictures posted look nothing like that now. I posted our view and room photos. We didn't take any when we first arrived, so please excuse the unmade bed. Which by the way was sooooo comfortable. Thank you again Dana for being so amazing and making our trip so memorable
GGuest UserThis was a last minute 4th of July vacation, we liked easy access to the ocean front. We rented 2 rooms according to the layout of the rooms, accommodating up to 6 people. To say the least, the layout of the rooms were extremely misleading-- online description of the room did not match. Second, the cleanliness of the rooms were non-existent--sticky floors, left over dirty clothes under the bed, and sandy carpet. Third, the bed lacked comfort and bed spread full of visible stains. Finally, the door to room 327 does not work-- we had to Jerry rigged it (front desk said they'd send maintenance for assistance, but never came). Also, the building elevator needs attention-- install sensor to prevent from closing too early especially when people are loading and unloading. The bright side, however, were there brand new refrigerators, stove (semi functioning), A/C, amazing water pressure, and kitchen tools. Overall, we do not see ourselves coming back or recommending this site to my family or friends.
