This's my first time booking through ”trip” app. I glad i did. Our room is corner views where we got both the view from diamond head and oceanfront. This's the best experience i have. We arrived at the hotel on a Friday night around 7pm Hawaii time. Didn't expect they were doing fireworks around 8pm. I got to see it right from my window view. Omg.....i was breaking in tears where i haven't experience of fireworks this close before. I wish they allow video reviews in here where i can share my recording of the fireworks to you all. My daily views from my room are the best everyday and night throughout our stay. We walked around the beaches, restaurants and stores around the hotel area everynight before bed. Anyway, thank you for the awesome experience and memories. Love it so much and totally recommend.

I booked a room with two beds. There was no microwave and the fridge was very warm, I would not trust leaving food in there overnight. The room was alright although the hallways smelt like **** and there were stains on the carpet floor. Other then that, I enjoyed the view from the 15 floor. The hotel is also right in the middle of Waikiki and there is a trolley stop right across the street from the hotel. ( if you don’t want to pay a huge price for transportation I suggest the Waikiki trolley $10 non stop rides from Waikiki to Ala moana (pink line)

I was very disappointed when I got to my crappy old room...it was so hot in my room!! The a/c was barely working!! So I called the front desk to switch rooms... luckily she called me back and said she had another room for me... the new room wasn't really any better!! The a/c was in the back corner and still I couldn't feel the a/c!! I actually had to go to the back corner to feel a little air conditioned. We pay a lot of money to stay there and there rooms barely have working air conditioned!! We were very hot the whole time we were there!! So my friends and I will never stay there again!! And we will not recommend Waikiki heritage hotel to anyone!! Good luck...

It is newly decorated in a Japanese style. The fixed seaside view is that the beach is not a full sea view. Most of the Japanese customers also have exclusive services. It is friendly to children. There are children's pools and water play facilities, and there is also an infinity pool with an adult bar. It is great not to disturb each other. There is a Lawson convenience store, an ice cream shop, etc. just below, with complete facilities, it is worth living in!

For the first time in 50 years, I was assigned to a room that was not properly sanitized. Fortunately, I was later upgraded to a room as compensation.

I paid the resort fee and deposit with my card when I checked in in the morning, but when I went to the front desk to pick up my room key in the afternoon, I was charged the resort fee and deposit again. Even if I told him that I had paid when I checked in earlier, he insisted that I could pay. It's not for me, it's for my husband. Even though I said it was strange that I had reserved only one room for two people, I was told to pay. I asked someone who could speak Japanese to take over the phone and explain things to me, and they finally gave me the room key, but there was no explanation or apology as to why it happened. I was handed the room key with a defiant attitude.
And, as expected, I was charged at the restaurant even though I made a reservation with a plan that included breakfast. If the front desk is that much, well, I thought it would be like that.
I'm scared of what I'll be charged next time when I check out tomorrow.
Is Marriott a hotel like that?
I come to Hawaii every year, but I will never stay at a Marriott again.
It's a shame because the location and facilities are fine.

I enjoyed my stay. Our room was great and had a beautiful view. Also, it was peaceful, not a lot of noise in the hallways. Breakfast was a little bland at the hotel, but there were many other places to eat close by. The Signature is a little overrated for the dine in meal, but the happy hour is a good value, and in a great location. We experienced both. I enjoyed the shopping close by as well as the breach in walking distance. I think I would visit again for a few days and then travel to see more of Hawaii.

Stayed here for 1 week, location is great. Right on Waikiki. This hotel doesn’t have its own beach but offers free sitting chairs to bring with you to the beach and towels. Takes 20secs to the beach.Really tall hotel so you can see sunset over the ocean, staff is SUPER friendly. Building is old like all of them on Waikiki, furniture needs updating, mattress is hard but they give you 4 pillows, asked for our room to be freshened up when came back sheets and duvet cover never got changed.Asked next day to freshen up and left sheets same way.Not sure why, cleaning staff spoke perfect English!Mon&Wed they got farmers market downstairs, outrageous prices a Coconut for $20US, a small cup of fruits for $20US,youll also find bracelets and other junk! Overall it’s affordable and central,we didn’t eat on the resort nor used their spa so can’t recommend!

The hotel is in a good location! Located on the edge of Waikiki Beach, 6-8 minutes walk from Alamona Shopping Center. There is a pier in front of the hotel. If you are lucky, you can see turtles in the pier waters while standing in the room (beachfront room type)! There are many Japanese tourists in the hotel and the service is very good! ! The hotel room is large, the hotel is new, and the facilities are good!
The disadvantage I personally think is that the swimming pool is small and located on the fifth floor of the hotel, which is a bit useless (everyone goes to the beach to swim, especially the lagoon on the beach near the hotel, the water is very calm, the area is large and the scenery is beautiful), and I don’t know that the hotel charges 47 dollars per day for a resort. What does the fee provide? In addition, the hotel only has two high-rise buildings and does not go directly to the beach. It does not have the same atmosphere as the Hilton resort next to it (the Hilton we stayed at last time)
