Reviews for Hoi An Hotels

Thu Bon Riverside Homestay

This family puts their heart and soul into running this homestay. Everything is perfect -- rooms and bathrooms are extremely clean, there is a mosquito netting for the bed (I've stayed in many tropical hotels/homestays and this is the first I've seen), many little things have been thought out in advance for guest comfort. 2 of the upstairs rooms are amazing, you get a balcony view of the river. The balcony is shared with the adjoining room, but quite large. Everything is working well, nothing is in disrepair. There is hot water for showering. There is clean drinking water from a reverse-osmosis system in the kitchen. There is hot drinking water in the thermos flasks. There is laundry service, the matriarch washes the clothing by hand. The family is attentive and caring. Real people. Their little dog is cute and friendly. How can you say no to such a place?
Windbell Villa Hoi An

For value per dollar, hands down the best place I have ever stayed at. Generally speaking, Hoi An accommodations offer way better value compared to those in Da Nang, Hanoi, and Ho Chi Minh city. The homestay got the basics right: comfy bed, fantastic AC, clean, spacious room, free breakfast and hot coffee. One room even has a kitchen, which makes it perfect for longer stays. We could've stayed for weeks. The property was gorgeous with tons of plants and flowers, all blossoming. So serene and peaceful. The resident dogs and cats happily lounged around, were friendly and well taken care of, a sight I would love to see more in Vietnam. The pool was nice to cool off after long hot days of walking. It was quiet yet walking distance to the ancient towns - we made multiple trips per day. We could hear roosters but it added to the charm. I felt like I was living in a fairytale. If you need something, just ask and they'll try to accommodate. I found the service just enough, neither overbearing nor neglectful. This place measures up to the hundreds of dollar per night resorts that we've stayed at. Will not hesitate to stay here again next time we'll in Hoi An. Thank you!
Pebble Homestay

We cannot recommend Pebble Homestay highly enough! This was a quiet, very clean, comfortable stay a very short and convenient walking distance to the town center. Excellent service, the family that owns this homestay is so kind and helpful and will arrange different tours for you. They also make a delicious breakfast for you with a small extra cost. The family always greeted us with smiles and went out of their way to make it a great experience. This was one of our favorite stays in Vietnam because of the hospitality. The room is basic but very clean and comfortable. Thank you Pebble Homestay!
The Muse House

I fell in love with this hotel. The boss and his wife used to open a hotel with an expansion of business while doing restaurants and cafes. From the furniture received by their parents, antiques are delicately arranged, The table that the boss made is also nice. They're like wonderful people who work hard and do what they want to do. The hotel room is very spacious, you can go out to swim right in the pool, dream of a fantastic daily life in the bathtub! The noodles including breakfast are so delicious with gold medals. I'm going to Hoi An on purpose this weekend to go to the foot massage in Old City and this house.
