The hotel is nice and the room was clean and comfortable. However, I was very disappointed with the following:
- No wifi
- No room cleaning
- No air conditioning
- TV in the room is not smart

We stayed almost 3 weeks over Christmas and new year's.
We liked: the breakfast buffet was amazing, almost like a traditional Swedish Christmas buffet. Room was nice, didn't hear the neighbors much + comfy beds. Front desk staff + the lady that cleaned was very nice and helpful.
We didn't like: the breakfast buffet was very crowded some of the days around the holidays (despite the booking system) it was like eating in a school cafeteria with almost more children than adults (and many of them coughing, screaming or running around). Pillows were not great, we asked for additional and that helped a little. The dinner buffet was really bad, would definitely not recommend!
This is not the place to stay unless you have a car and are planning to drive it wherever you are going. Location was great for us but if you plan on spending most of the time downtown Gothenburg you are better off staying there.
Also note that from January 2022 they now charge 100SEK per night to park in the garage. You can park outside for free (on the garage roof unless you have an oversized vehicle) but that lot is shared with a car rental place and fills up quick when the hotel is busy. We booked specifically for the free garage parking but couldn't use it for the last week since they suddenly changed the rules.
