The room was not wide, but we were used to it because the Japanese-style rooms were not big. My friend and I felt that this size was quite comfortable and would not feel suffocated because of the cramped space. Nevertheless, this is the smallest room we have ever lived in during our stay in Japan. The rooms, bathrooms and public areas were cleaned spotlessly. The staff was superb, warm and friendly and helpful. The hotel has laundry facilities and it is great. The tram stop and attractions are a few steps away from the hotel and the location is very convenient. Free internet access is available in the room. Breakfast is not very good, but it can fill the stomach and store energy for a day of travel, which is not bad.

The bedlinen is super soft to sleep on. Nice river views too right in front of my room. Love the location too. Very close to all the attraction I needed to go. We love this hotel very much. Thumb up for this hotel.

The room was larger, nicer, and cheaper than the 4 star places I stayed at in Kyoto and Tokyo. The view from the room I had was great - high up and facing peace memorial park. The park itself was only a few minutes walk away, and the hotel was nearby many shops and transport. Really great budget choice.

PROS: Unbeatable central location in Hiroshima with large, clean rooms and great views of the city. The rooms were reasonably priced. CONS: This hotel is extremely dated and ultimately this impacted on the comfort of our stay - neither of us slept well on any night due to very old bed/pillows. They were also strict about their 15.00 check in time (seemingly regardless of whether our room was ready or not). This led to unnecessary queues from 15.00 onwards. Overall, would book elsewhere if staying again for more than 1 night in Hiroshima.

The hotel is located a 10-minute walk from the Peace Park and a 30-minute walk from JR Hiroshima Station, nearby there is a large FUJI GRAND supermarket and a DON QUIJOTE discount store. The breakfast is excellent, there are many Asian dishes, also boiled vegetables and neutral foods without spices. It's a pity that they don't provide drinking water for guests, only a vending machine in the lobby. There is also a microwave in the lobby. The staff is very polite and tries to help resolve issues.

The location is convenient for shopping and dining. Don Quixote department store is next door and everything is nearby. The hotel provides surrounding gourmet restaurants This time I chose Bachang. It’s super delicious. Most of the people inside are locals.

If you’re looking for relaxation and escapism from the hustle and bustle of the city, do come here. The surrounding is calm and quiet especially the view from the window is superb! Beautiful views of the sea and mountains.

Very close to the Station and Tram transport. Also lots of restaurants nearby. Room was perfect for a short stay.
