Best Western the Grand Hotel Hartlepool

Centrally placed in Hartlepool staff were excellent and bedroom decent size too weather was atrocious but room was lovely and warm .

A fantastic hotel with very friendly, helpful staff. The only downside is, despite being on here as having secure guest parking, this isn’t the case if you stay on a week day

I had a satisfying stay at this hotel and felt that it was definitely worth the money. The pricing is fair, and you truly get what you pay for in terms of comfort, service, and overall experience.

Amazing stay. The customer service was impeccable from the off, very clean, all the necessary amenities, and a super comfortable bed and pillow.

I was booked in for 3 nights, however on the last night of 27th Jan, i received a knock on my room door at approx. 1900 hrs from Grand Hotel staff and was informed, that I needed to vacate the property by 2100 hrs due to hotel fire system not functional, so could not guarantee safety of guests ?, no alternatives were provided, and that I needed to arrange alternative accommodation, no help was provided from Grand Hotel Staff. I managed to get a booking in the local Premier Inn which was much more expensive, I expect a refund for the night not provided by Grand Hotel, and payment of alternative accommodation of Premier Inn, Please confirm with Best Western. The refund for the affected night has been successfully processed. Breakfast food was good, but most of the time not enough for customers. Only one person serving.

This hotel is settled in a lovely old building and have a special style that keeps original features. The rooms are huge! And really comfortable.

This hotel was booked for my engineers, they commented on how clean it was and how friendly the staff were.

Overall nice and cozy ! Indian restaurant was great !
