My family and I stayed at the Hotel Concorde for 5 days in August, and we enjoyed a lovely and very memorable experience during our stay. The lobby is very big, but furniture and decor is a little dated and could do with an eventual renovation. A good front desk/reception staff is the hallmark of a great hotel. As non-Japanese visitors to a less frequented area of Japan, we expected to have some difficulties communicating in Hamamatsu. Though this was largely the case, we were pleasantly surprised at the lengths hotel staff would go to in order to ensure we had a good experience. We arrived at around noon, earlier than the supposed 3pm check-in time. Our luggage from Tokyo had been sent via luggage delivery service, and the front desk informed us that all our luggage would be kept securely in the room and would be available upon check-in. We passed the time in the hotel restaurant - understandably, some staff could not understand us at first but made every possible effort to try and communicate with us. The hotel restaurant (which also serves daily buffet breakfast, lunch, and à la carte dinner) had a decent selection and we found it sufficient for our needs. Upon check-in at 3pm, we received complimentary water bottles and a single physical key to our room. Unfortunately, this is the only key, making staying in a room with other people a little inconvenient. Elevators are fast and frequent, offering access to coin laundry, food and beverage vending machines, ice machines, an unagi and a Japanese restaurant, as well as guest rooms. An amenity station is provided at the entrance to each floor, where guests can help themselves to instant tea and coffee, toiletries, and even a clothing press. Rooms are basic but clean and practical. Adapters are provided upon request. There are robes and slippers within the drawers, a bag for dirty towels, and tea bags. One feature my family appreciated was a laundry status channel on the television, in which guests can see which laundry machines are in use, and how much time each has left. Our room had an amazing view of the Hamamatsu City Hall and the Hamamatsu Castle. The housekeeping schedule can be variable - there was one day where the maids were just getting started on our room at 3pm. However, cleaning seems to be fast and efficient. In terms of location, we eventually settled on the Hotel Concorde due to its proximity to a friend's apartment. It is about a 15-minute walk from the Hamamatsu train station. A Family Mart is located just across the street, and there is a beautiful Starbucks location in the Hamamatsu Castle park. Taxis don't seem to pass by the area too often, but hotel staff can always make a call for you. Though there isn't a large selection of restaurants nearby, most locations are within a 10-minute walk. I want to highlight and commend the efforts of the front desk staff. Despite the large language barrier, each person was friendly and welcoming, greeting us whenever we passed by the l

We used it during Hamamatsu sightseeing. It was a subtle distance from the station 10 minutes, but it was a distance that would not be bitter for a solo trip to walk while enjoying the town and the food and drink town. It was a Sunday stay, so it was a very reasonable price, also a free drink and a lounge room with a wide 々, and a full Viking and service and satisfaction that doesn't seem to be free for breakfast, rice, etc. It is a high hotel. The interior of the hotel was renovated and the room was beautiful. I raised it early, so I left my luggage at the front desk, but the response was very good.

Stayed on the Executive Floor. Very clean, comfortable, firm and wide double bed with somewhat hard pillows. The room was spacious with a nice desk and rolling chair, and another wooden chair with a back massage pillow. Wifi was stable. Pajamas were thick. Declined the daily cleaning, however housekeeping staff hooked a bag of fresh towels, pajama set, green tea and bottled water to the door each day. Safety box above a small fridge. Amenity station in the lobby with assorted bath salts and other supplies. Also, liked the blackout shades that converted to a gentle screen. Check out the daily Happy Hour from 5 - 8pm just before dusk to have a pretty view of Hamamatsu station as the sun goes down. Had a variety of drinks, alcohol and rice cracker snacks. Overall, a great, convenient location. The annoying thing was I kept hearing faint knocking sounds from the plumbing or vents throughout my week long stay. For light sleepers, this can be a deciding factor. Will try another hotel next time.

3 minutes from the station by underground passage. A well maintained hotel. The size and service of the margin. Breakfast buffet is also substantial. The lunch of the Chinese restaurant is also delicious. Hotel that feels the elegance of Showa on one rank of business hotel.

We stayed at this hotel for one night, we were on the 40th floor and we could see the city and the sea in the distance. The hotel rooms are comfortable, of course, not spacious, we felt the big bed in the room was low and hard, the room was small, and if you open two suitcases, one of them would definitely block the door. Okura, a resounding name, is bringing high prices and lacks some details we feel should be in a five-star hotel. Although they offer high-end cosmetics, there is a small piece of soap and two large towels plus a small towel, which is really too little for a room for two guests. The restaurant in the hotel building is a bit too much, we saw 3 Japanese restaurants, 2 Chinese restaurants and 2 Italian restaurants. Most restaurants are above the 30th floor and as we know, the price on the menu reflects the height here. Our Figaro restaurant on the second floor (Figaro restaurant) had a buffet. The buffet provided various cuisines, beautifully sold, well stocked and of good quality. We had a bottle of French wine with the restaurant's signature, which also had the Okura logo on it, I confirmed that the wine was really good, of course, the price was the same as everything under the name ”Okura”. Breakfast was also eaten there, the variety and quality of the breakfast were very good. Wired internet is provided in the room and free unlimited use. Disappointingly, there are few free channels available on the phone, English channels CNN. There is no direct bus from the Shinkansen station to the hotel. It feels really long to walk on the rugged trail with luggage. Although the suitcase has wheels, it is really uncomfortable to walk with luggage. Of course, this is not the hotel's fault, but for guests with luggage, this road is very important. I suggest you take a taxi through this small section, hoping that the taxi driver will not refuse to carry passengers. Staff were very helpful and polite, but most people didn’t speak very good English. Nevertheless, it wasn’t a big impact when we stayed here. Overall, a pleasant stay.

The hotel room was a lot smaller than I expected. It’s possibly because of the difference in photos online and the actual room in person. The stay was ok. I was only at the hotel for sleep or stopping by to drop something off. The location is extremely good since it’s right by the station. I would give full marks in that. If you’re not staying at the hotel for long, I recommend it.

Stayed in August 2019. Business hotel located 5 minutes walk from the north exit of JR kakegawa station where the Shinkansen stops. The appearance and the room are clean and clean. Free wifi is complete and the communication speed is no problem. The toilet is complete with a washlet. There is a microwave oven and pot in the room. There is no safe. Check-in is 15:00~23:00. Check-out is 10:00. There are many restaurants around. Since the convenience store is the nearest to Lawson kakegawa station in front of kakegawa station north exit of kakegawa station, it is better to use it before going to the hotel from the station to the hotel. There is no private parking lot, so you need to use the nearby coin parking. It is very beautiful to see Kakegawa Castle, which is lit up from the front of the hotel. As a business hotel, it is a hotel without any special problems☆

AAnonymous UserThe inn was located in a complex building, and was a combination of a spa and a manga cafe.
Because it's near the station, there are many restaurants nearby, and the building I'm in has a food court and fast food restaurants on the first floor, so it was convenient.
The inside of the building was new and kept clean. The common space is large and there is plenty of work space, you can read manga, and you can also take a bath in the hot springs and sauna. The sliding door of the cabin-type room did not have a lock, but a sensor key on a wristband was required to enter the living area, and the desk in the room also had a dial locker to store valuables. It was attached. Also, it seemed like you could use the large locker if you got the key from the front desk.
Inside the hotel, you can only use the spa (no overnight stay), and it seemed like young locals were also using it, but I didn't feel it was noisy in the common spaces, and the living spaces were quiet.
What I would like to see improved is the staff's response and guidance at check-in.
At check-in, I was told my room number and that I needed a key to enter and exit the living area, but there was no map of the building at the front desk, and I was told that there was a guide to the building in the back and a detailed guide to my room, so please take a look. ”, and the front staff immediately started chatting with each other.
For first-time users, even if you are told that there is a guide to the inside of the building ”in the back”, there is no way to point out or guide you as to where that ”back” actually is, so you have to look for the information board in your room. It took a while to find it. I think it would be good to have the facility usage guide read in a file in the room, but at least the front desk could use a map of the facility to show you where the front desk is, where the room is, and how to get to the room. I think it's better. I think there is a lot of room for improvement in the front desk's job of neglecting customer service and increasing the time for chatting between staff members.
Although there was some inconvenience with the reception at check-in, the reception at the front desk at check-out and the cleaning staff at the time of using the hotel were very polite and pleasant.
555love1999We used it for two adults and one infant before summer vacation! We stayed in a cheap price of less than 10000 yen in the location of the station. The size of the room was perfect and the infant could run around. The facilities were clean and comfortable. At night, you can get a hotel special curry for free, and breakfast is free and buffet is very satisfying. There was curry in the morning, but it was delicious! It was a quality that I didn't think was free. However, the response of the young men and women at the check-in was not good, so ☆ was -1. I can't understand it because I'm bad at the tooth out of greeting and I'm not sure I'm sorry that I'm so good at other things. I would like to use it when staying in Hamamatsu, so I expect the front desk education to be thorough!
LLincoln WoodRented bicycles for 24hpurs for only 1000 each. Worked perfectly well. Took advantage of the lounge which had a lovely atmosphere. Bedroom was bigger than many other places I've stayed at. Staff at reception were smiley. Cleaners too were jolly.
Only down side was the bathroom toilet. There was nowhere to put a change of clothes towel etc. so I managed to soak them.
SsungoiIt is a little far from the station but acceptable. It was good because it was a quiet place and it is convenient because it is a convenience store in front of you. The employees can respond politely and the breakfast is ◎ considering that it is free. I think the accommodation fee was very cheap considering the above.
GGuest UserThis time, ”Hotel Select Inn Hamamatsu Station Mae lost this! Simple stay for business sightseeing ♪ Non-smoking Western room Double 2 people 1 room Breakfast with” 3990 yen / people We used the plan of 2 people. The check-in time was 22 hours, but the man (foreign staff in Japan) who feels unfamiliar with Japanese corresponds, and despite the reservation with breakfast, ”I don't receive a reservation with breakfast. It is said that breakfast cannot be eaten. The parking lot is also full for the hotel, and there is no parking lot somewhere? I heard that there are many around it, so please look for yourself and stop. I thought it would be troublesome if I was a traveler who was unfamiliar with Hamamatsu. The hotel's large bath was also a man's side, the washroom was 8, but the bath was a full bathtub when adults entered 3 people. The female bath was also about the same size and the family said, but the security is low. If you are a business hotel (personal impression) of a certain rank, there are many mechanisms to enter the password, open the key and enter the dressing room, but there is no hotel here. 1 Directly connected to the front entrance on the floor, there is a bathroom entrance on the floor next to the front entrance of the hotel, and the front staff is not always looking at it. It was a little uneasy. The air conditioning was also air conditioned throughout the building, and it was used at the end of 4, but it was already cold with the setting of ”cooling”. Why is this hotel in ANA hotels? I wonder. The only good thing was that the price was cheap. There was no other place to stay, and it was a response that I thought I would not stay again except when there was no way.
GGuest UserThe hotel itself was good. The included breakfast was surprisingly awesome! we loved it. The only thing I would say is that the water in the shower is WAAAY too hot... I mean it's dangerously hot to the point you can actually burn yourself. I recommend starting with cold and then warming it up slowly to avoid injury, or hopefully the hotel can set a limit for the temperature that is more reasonable.
GGuest UserUse a triple room. It feels like a luxury hotel in Showa. The good thing is that the parking lot is right in front of you and it is free. The staff is also polite. The room is large. It is cleaned cleanly. It was on a hill and on a high floor, so the scenery is wonderful. Breakfast was also very delicious with my own seasoning. The bad thing is that it looks like a historic hotel, so it can't be helped, but I noticed it was old everywhere. Is the mattress coffee? stains. The bath is full of mold with tile grooves. When the drain is clogged and you are taking a shower, it accumulates from your feet. The whole room is dark even if all the lights are turned on. However, I think the cospa is a good person. There was breakfast for 3 people and it was a little over 20,000.
GGuest UserIt was convenient because you can go from Hamamatsu Station without crossing a big road. I used it for the live expedition this time, but it was very helpful to arrive at Hamamatsu station around noon and to leave my luggage before check-in and carry it to the room.
It's a short walk to the convenience store, so if you come from the station, you might want to finish shopping at the convenience store first.
The staff at the front desk were polite and very good at any time zone.
I felt that the air conditioner was difficult to adjust for me, and even if it was weakest in three stages, the temperature was a little high.
