We had planned on staying at this hotel for just a couple of nights but extended our stay and then returned later in our trip as it was so fantastic. The beautiful hotel is situated in a lovely, landscaped area of Hai Phong with many restaurants and a mall just a short walk away. The rooms were large, very clean and quiet. They also have a balcony where there are tables and chairs. The breakfast - included in the price of our room - was excellent with a wide choice of foods. What really makes this hotel stand out is the incredible service given by all the staff; especially those working on reception. They were incredibly friendly, helpful and researched and found solutions for our travel plans. This hotel is a real gem, do visit if you can.

The floor is very high and the view is very good. The room is quite decent, but the exhaust sound directly above the toilet in the bathroom is a bit noisy. You have to close the door when sleeping. The breakfast is quite rich. It is considered a better hotel in the area.

In terms of décor and comfort, this was the loveliest boutique hotel we stayed in during our 25 days visiting Vietnam. We stayed 2 nights in a suite room which was like a studio apartment – very spacious with a separate living area. We ate dinner at The Bonne Vie restaurant on site which offered good variety of both Vietnamese and Western dishes on their menu and the food was very tasty. Staff were, at all times, efficient and friendly. Reception and Restaurant staff spoke very good English. I would highly recommend this hotel to our family, friends and work colleagues visiting Hai Phong.

On the side of the square, near the port, there are many restaurants and cafes nearby, and it is just a walk back to the hotel after dinner. The front desk of the hotel is friendly and welcoming. Ginger water is used to dispel cold and damp, and there is temperature. The mini refrigerator is free of charge. Fruits are welcome. Lobby is small and warm, filled with Christmas atmosphere, ordering a glass of red wine in the evening, and drinking dried fruit, sinking into the sofa and chatting with friends, very comfortable, everything is just right!

It’s still very hearty. The water park not far away is also not open. It’s pretty cute; there are a lot of small crabs on the beach that are hard to catch. Due to changes in my itinerary, I temporarily arrived at Paul Chabot Hotel at about 10 a.m. the night before check-in (booking on March 15th) the next day (March 16). The front desk informed me that check-in would normally be at 2 p.m. But seeing that we had arrived, they arranged for us to check in early. The hotel is very clean and unique inside and outside. We originally booked a regular twin room for two nights, but after seeing that the environment was very elegant, we decided to stay in a room with a street view and a terrace for the second night. The room with terrace is very cost-effective, we like it very much😊 We would like to express our gratitude to the two staff at the front desk for their help in arranging our check-in and booking a taxi to the airport at 5:30 in the morning. They also arranged for us to take away breakfast to enjoy in the car. A very loving and considerate hotel😊

The decoration has been open for less than 10 months. The room is big enough, new, clean, with a kitchenette and washing machine. It is located in the most central place.
