I must say that the overall service quality and the cleanliness of the room was outstanding… as I was travelling with my wife & daughter, the front desk staff ( named Yan) was very thoughtful and attentive. I requested for a rope for my daughter and Ms Yan also brought me baby slippers & toothbrush which was a pleasant surprise… I would surely book this place again for my upcoming trip to Guangzhou later this year

Great hotel, really good quality price ratio. Very conveniently located close to Yuexiu Park and the metro station for Line 2. Close to Guangzhou Train Station South. Great buffet breakfast at the Veranda Cafe. And if you're in the mood for fast food there is a Burger King, Starbucks and a Domino's in the same block. I will book this hotel again if I'm back on GZ.

Fabulous historic hotel in the center of the beautiful YueXiu district. Rooms are huge, staff is efficient, speaks English, and very polite. Rooms have high ceilings, huge windows and very well decorated in a classic but super comfortable classical China style. Yuexiu Park metro station is 5 min walk, and next door is a Starbucks and McDonalds. Across the street is a new mall with lots of Chinese restaurants. It’s also about a 10 minute walk from Guangzhou’s famous clothing wholesale markets. Hotel lobby is huge and totally fabulous! Staying here makes you feel like you are living a life of luxury, but still at a reasonable price. One thing I would tell the staff to improve : showers need to be scrubbed better because any mold in the shower is unacceptable, even a little. This is a common problem in China, different standards than western cultures I guess. Otherwise, this is the place to stay. Standard Rooms here are a lot larger than at the China Hotel next door, and usually rooms rates for both properties are similar. Why not stay at Dong Fang and get a nicer room for the same price ?

I stayed here from 19/12 - 23/12, overall it was a pleasant experience. When I first booked it, it was for the location as it was near the metro station and opposite the hotel is a supermarket, similar to Giant at Tampines if you know. There were a lot of food places near the hotel but if you're lazy to go, just order delivery lol. The staff here are friendly, efficient and welcoming. The cleanliness of the hotel room is good, except the bathroom may be a little too old? I think it's fine to be honest, not that I mind it a lot. Plus point! Their laundry room is quite nice, they provide detergent powder, liquid detergent. They have dryer and the washing machine, you can also hang dry if you don't like dryer. The only thing that I have to complain is that the hotel location is not the most ideal for ordering cars or taking taxis but once you are used to Guangzhou, it shouldn't be a problem. Overall, pleasant stay and will come back again if I visit Guangzhou again.

The hotel is quite affordable and accessible as it’s in the busy center of Sanyuanli Guangzhou and it’s very convenient. It’s close to the subway and can easily get a taxi or car ride. The staff are friendly. The hotel is clean. The rooms are clean too. The room we stayed in the first two nights was small, quite tight but the room we moved to for the last two nights was big and the bathroom was huge, so spacious. The breakfast was a fair Chinese food, dry noodles, eggs, sweet potatoes, boiled corn, porridge, and baozi or jiaozi. However, the food was cold, no microwave in the hotel to heat up food and no drinks (milk or juice) while eating. In all, I can recommend this hotel for stay.

The front desk is very professional and dignified, with a very good attitude, making customers feel very comfortable and natural. Not vain, not casual. My feeling is that the service staff at the front desk enjoy their job and are willing to serve you. If you have any needs, just ask them and they will help you to the best of their ability. Land is at a premium in Sanyuan, so the standard room is relatively small, with two beds, a writing desk and a TV. What is surprising is that the shower room in the toilet is not too small, and the toilet door is made of glass. This should be the ”feature” of the Hanting Hotel. It is not convenient for heterosexual family members to travel. The hotel is next to a viaduct, and the windows are double-glazed. It is generally very quiet. The whistle can be heard, but the volume is reduced. The hotel also has a restaurant. During breakfast, especially on weekends, there will be more people, so it is normal for there to be no seats. It’s 18 yuan per person, so I recommend eating rice rolls. I think the environment is at a two-star level, and the service is definitely at a four-star level. After all, the price and location are here, and the environment and facilities can't be forced, it's pretty good. The air conditioner works very well. I hope I can wipe down the air conditioner remote control when I clean it in the future.

Greatly enjoyed my stay at both Hampton by Hiltons I stayed at in Guangzhou (the other was the sports center one). This one had a big leg up, over most Asian hotels actually, which is that the air conditioning was on! It was nice to sleep in a cool 18C :) The staff here was wonderful, for example immediately after I checked out I asked if there was a microwave to heat a leftover burger I had. I was taken to the restaurant and the desk staff heated the burger and allowed me to dine in the restaurant area while it was closed. This was greatly appreciated. Like the other Hampton hotel it seems quite new, has a very innovative light switch setup that I love, and the bed is very comfortable. I highly recommend it. Location is a touch far from the metro but manageable and taxis are plentiful, walkable to nice areas including the amazing sculpture park and its attached parks. Note the Google maps location for the hotel is wrong, it's located in the large open space directly northeast of the Ziyuan Comprehensive Market shown on the attached screenshot. Enjoy!

The location of the hotel is very good. Every time I come to Yuexiu District, I choose this hotel first and foremost. It is very cost-effective. The rooms are very clean and well-done.
