It’s more convenient to eat in the cafeteria downstairs and it’s not expensive. It's free. The house is like an adverti*****t. I forgot to take photos. I wanted to stay for three nights. I didn't sleep well for two consecutive days and could only change to another hotel.

This is the first Yaduo hotel our family stayed in China, but it is definitely not the last one. Unexpectedly, the waiter at the front desk of the hotel thoughtfully prepared a translation tool for us. It was really a very considerate operation. Because it's my first time here, we want to visit the Guangzhou Tower. After learning about it, the manager of the hotel took the initiative to plan the itinerary for us, and also used English standard time nodes and road maps throughout the whole process. Great value for money, super clean, comforable bed, beautiful river view from hotel room. Need to specific mention this hotel have very amazing, friendly and helpful staffs. (We left a wifi egg with charger behind and they gave it to us immediately when we check out!!) Walking distance to eateries and river cruise at the pier. Stay for 2 nights in this hotel, just a bit disappointed coz can't go to the rooftop bar due to events on both nights. Also need to mention elderly need to be very careful when using the shower room of the hotel coz their floor are made of marble. It can be a bit slippery. Other than that, I highly recommend this hotel and will come back next time. We had a wonderful time here, thank you very much.

Given the high rating and reputation of this hotel, I was shocked by the conditions of the supposedly newly renovated rooms. I was staying at the standard room on the twelve floor , facing the historical buildings. We checked in after 10:30pm under the drizzles and chill - the outside temperature was around 10 degress. I noticed the holes of the linen of the blinds when they were rolled down, though it could still function. Yet, the light shield was worse. It was trapped on one side and could not be let down. The plus side was we were offered another room on the same floor immediately. Leo who helped to bring our luggage up was very polite and patient. He stayed outside our room when his colleague brought the new key of the new room and accompanied us to the new room to ensure everything was all right. He was worth 5 out of 5 for service. However, I would further explain why I only gave 4 out of 5 for service. Yet, the new room was smaller and for any other international hotels , from my experience, would offer an upgrade of the room. This hotel did not. Thats why I gave 4 out of 5 for service. The linen of the blinds in the new room was still far from 100%. I could still detect torn tissues , most probably because the blinds were dated. Thats why I gave a 3 out of 5 for facilities.

I booked a family room with two double beds for three adults. However, to our disappointment that it was only good for people of the same sex because of its too open design. There was no separate bathroom. The partitions for the shower compartment and the toilet compartment were all made of transparent glasses which allow no privacy. Besides, there was no changing space in the compact open bathroom and you have to walk naked to access the towels in a shelf and get dressed outside the ”bathroom” - embarrassed.

There is also a backup charging station at the reception (4 yuan/piece). Very convenient! The hotel lights are yellow, so it feels dim. The room is ok, clean, someone comes in to clean every day. Every day you are given 2 bottles of mineral water. TV only has domestic cable, cannot use wifi. The hotel's wifi only allows QR codes to be scanned, but when I use apps like wechat, I can't access it. I don't know if it's because I'm a foreigner. But on the phone, pressing direct access can still access wifi. However, wifi blocks foreign apps, only Chinese apps can be used. The lights in the room were also yellow and dim, making makeup a bit difficult. The bathroom has hot water, but you have to wait quite a while. As for the bathroom door, it's a bit difficult to use.
