Arrived and had a great reception., easy to book in and then to locate room Nice room comfortable bed. Had a bar meal and enjoyed it was a struggle to finish, nice people and helpful people behind the bar . Breakfast had a great choice of food and was cooked fresh. It is set in a lovely setting and well worth using

We have recently just been married here and all I have is praise for the mill forge. We arrived and checked in staff was so pleasant and helpful and run through the schedule for wedding following day. Our bridal suite was fantastic with everything we needed, bottle of bubbly chilling and box of chocolates was a lovely touch. Bar was relaxed and food was of high standard. We was met by paul who guided us through our day and nothing was too much for him, he was exceptional and went above and beyond, all staff where amazing but too many to name so polite and professional at all times. Wedding was perfect and location and venue was beautiful and well looked after. I would highly recommend if your looking to get married as these guys offer a fantastic package and you won't be disappointed.

We spent a night there and the accommodation was good but food and service was awful. We ordered food and my Partner had a chicken dish. The Chicken was dry and the sauce was tasteless Haggis was supposed to be wrapped inside the chicken but was just slapped on top. Also the potatoes were bland. I had Sticky Toffee Pudding for dessert. It was by no means a proper Sticky Toffee sponge as it was white in the middle ,the custard was either out of a box or a tin. The food might be suitable for people who are not used to properly made food but we were very disappointed with the food and price paid. Also the waiting staff grabbed the plates as soon as you were finished so it the experience very unrelaxing.

We got married here on 8th May and it was perfect.From the moment we walked in and spoke to Sam we were treated so well.The Chapel, the gardens, the accommodation and the staff were all first class. A special mention to Pauline, Richard and to Sam for making our Special Day just perfect. For anyone thinking of going to Gretna to get married then don't pass up this place

Excellent place, very accessible from the motorway, but absolutely no noise from traffic. The accommodation was clean, comfortable and the staff were very helpful and engaging Food in the bar was reasonably priced and good quality. Great sot to stop

We were married at The Mill on the 9th May 2024 and it truly was the perfect day. It’s a very romantic, picture perfect & secluded venue without coach loads of tourists joining in your special day. Staff are amazing & bridal suite was gorgeous.

great place for a stopover,room spotless with all you need,staff very pleasant,bar very good, food very good at reasonable prices fair choice on menu,good breakfast included,what ore could you want.Parkright outside your door. Outletcentre just up the road.Will call again when up here next

Had our wedding here on Saturday , the best day ever everything was perfect from start to finish all the staff are amazing but a big thank you to Pauline who looked after us at our wedding meal 5 out of 5 . Would recommend this hotel if thinking of going to Gretna for a break or to get married
