Friendly and welcoming staff and in great location. However, very dated, shower mouldy, toilet didn’t flush properly and room in need of a good clean and referb. Was offered a use of a kitchen which was a good added bonus.

tired rooms - strange odour in the hotel part of the building. I had a piece of sharp metal on the floor which found my foot in the night. left on the table as there were no overnight staff etc.
I don't think the pub does any food as there was no mention of breakfast. There is a great Cafe opposite though ( Concorde) for an old school fry up
great pub though - very busy and a rare wet focused pub
loads of room and a decent beer garden/outdoor area which i'm sure gets very busy
booked this after inputting hotels near to the Guild hall -which this is not ! ( not fault of the hotel though)

Great location and room was reasonably clean. Room very dated and smelled slightly. No housekeeping (room wasn't cleaned during stay). Sink in kitchen drained very slowly and toilet had very weak flush. Wasn't great value for the price

The property was good for an overnight stay We had a friendly welcome and the pub had a great atmosphere. The rooms were clean and tidy but could do with a little TLC

Rooms are a little dated and feel tired but was clean which is all that mattered. Beds were really comfortable and we had 2 lovely nights sleep. The pub downstairs serves lovely pub lunch which we had on 1st night then followed by a lovely breakfast the following morning plus we ended up having sunday lunch there too on our last day. The hosts were lovely and really welcoming they couldnt do enough for you . Location was ok as its a 10 min walk to the quay and docks and about 15 - 20 mins from city centre

Absolutely terrible would not rate this pub at all my pregnant wife and I went in for a couple of evening drinks as we sat down my partner had touse the toilet, as she come out we decided to go elsewhere for drinks and as we were leaving the staff ridley shouted at us " what is your address, how would you like it if I just come to your house for a piss" could not believe we were spoken to in such aanor of disrespect. Stay as far away from this place as possible if you would like to have a nice evening

The welcome as you would expect, the local pub feel, the Sunday roast was well cooked, plenty of veg for options and lovely atmosphere. Good drinks quality and nothing was too much for the lovely staff. Always a pleasure to visit and enjoy and would highly recommend booking!

This is my first negative review to post, I am normally of the opinion if you have nothing nice to say don't say anything at all! - However I need to try and save anyone else the experience I had in this establishment. It was a rugby weekend and accommodation was sp**** so we ended up in this place... the bar is ok in fairness the accommodation is a completely different story grim would be a happy place in comparison. The smell of must (I am telling myself it was must) on the stairs was beyond horrific, the rooms are like something out of a 1950's tenement.. tiny bed the toilet didn't flush the bathroom floor was creaky and sticky!!. Charging £180 you actually couldn't make up how horrible this place is... do not stay here!
