Everything was fine: I was looking for the cheapest non-sketchy h/motel I could find in the area, and this met my expectations. Checkin was great, the woman working was very friendly and helpful. The room was sufficient: nice for a motel, clean enough (except for one rogue dirty washcloth), and fine for my needs for a quick work trip. The mattress had a big sag on one side --- the place where I'm sure everyone sits when they first come in! But as a solo traveler the other side was fine for me. And the area felt safe. Breakfast was a little lacking -- no protein, just fruit, packaged baked goods, cereal, toast, and waffles. I would have appreciated a hardboiled egg.

The property is not in a good area, there is a long alley drive to the property with people lingering on the drive. The property is old, dated and very worn.

Had some very noisy young guests who were up partying until 330am with a fight breaking out in the parking lot. Was there for business and didn't get much sleep. Won't be staying there again.

It was such an awful experience of staying in Quality Inn And Suites Gilroy. Very poor property condition and facilities: The door keys didn't work, the staff tried to reprogram the keys but they were still not working. Toilet has no flushing power, we had to flush the toilet at least 4 to 5 times every time we used the toilet. There was a pretty big size of insect in the bathtub. A big crack underneath the door, the strong cold wind blew right inside the room, we had to use a bath towel to seal the door crack. The heater was extremely loud when it was turned on, we woke up the whole night by the very loud noise of the heater. The surface of the desk was broken. The fridge was old. All the lamp covers have stains. Stains on the bed sheet covers. We will NEVER GO BACK to this inn.

The area is quiet and the rooms were clean if not a bit dated and tired. A leaky sick and difficult shower faucet should be updated.
The breakfast is not recommended. There was nothing for gluten intolerant people as almost everything was wheat based. There was toast, muffins, and a waffle maker. The coffee was terrible.
The staff was friendly even at the late hour our party checked in and provided us with adjoining rooms, which was very helpful.

We had to move rooms twice but the receptionist said as amazing. Mildew smell
Coming from all the ac units and homeless people living under some of rooms. You can see the tents under the windows etc..
