It is advertised as a charming place, but as a stay location leaves a lot to desire. We returned here for the second year, hoping to find improvements, but that was not the case. Leaving the details of hygiene in the rooms, perhaps the only thing that is saved, with some reservations, is the pool. If you have a hillside, you should at least give the chance to drink water and coffee, but you can also die under the sun because the kiosk doesn't open before 12 pm. A child wounded in water on the inner edge of the bath, which was cutting because of the stripped maiolics. When it comes to breakfast, what is expected to be the most cocktail moment by a structure, it is disappointed by the presence of a single service person who alternates between a bank and a dozen tables in the room. The waiting times are clearly nervous. Quality also decreased, 3 types of cakes but nothing exceptional, especially a little thrown there without a label describing their ingredients. Later night, the outer event starts. 18th birthday with so much Dj, music, dance, songs and fireworks... all in the inner square nearby the apartments. I ask for the reception, but the answer was that they had nothing to do with the events! I reply, so who protects guests of the accommodations, since you are closed at 21 p.m.? We finally went out for a tour around to avoid discussions, but at our return (24:45) the celebrations were still ongoing, followed by greetings, laughters and doors. Lots of on site parking. Laundry service recommended across the hotel were amazing and friendly. Room was very small though. Blow dryer didn’t work. Not enough bench space in the bathroom. Overall cleanliness was great. The fridge was nice and cold. Although they don’t have a stocked fridge and you would have to go down to get bottled water. Variety of breakfast choices. Drinks were okay and coffee was from an instant coffee machine which was okay. Staff weren’t around often to ask for fresh coffee. Front concierge were friendly though and very helpful.

I chose this hotel because we needed a place to stay for just one night before an early morning flight out of Fiumicino after our time in Tuscany (It is an easy 35-minute drive to the airport on Sunday morning), but I wish we could have stayed longer! The staff was so friendly on check-in and told us that we were welcome to explore the public areas of the villa, which are covered with beautiful paintings and frescos. They provided us with a write-up on the very interesting history of the Villa. Our rooms (we booked two for our family) were very clean and good-sized, with comfortable beds. Yes, the wifi was spotty, and the rooms could use a little updating in terms of things like outlets), but they really had everything we needed and the charm of the place makes up for those things. One room had a beautiful view of Rome, especially at night! We also ate dinner in the hotel's elegant restaurant and it was a perfect last meal before we left Italy. The service was wonderful, prosecco was flowing freely, and the food was delicious!

We had a fabulous stay in this authentic beautiful hotel. I loved the linen sheets and the towels were lovely and plush. The rooms are very comfortable and the mosaic bathroom tiles are exquisite. The food in the tavern was excellent. Breakfast was lovely once it was understood what we wanted each day. A couple of negatives ... We had to ask for a chair so that my husband could sit at the desk to use his laptop. The pillows were all flat . An assortment of pillows on a meu would have been preferable . There was a rain shower which is good for hair washing days. I prefer a shower coming from the wall , however, this one was attached half way down the wall. It would have been perfect if it had been attached further up so you could stand under it. Even though the bath looked aesthetically pleasing I did not find it practical to climb in and out. Especially with mobility issues. These issues did not detract us from having a lovely stay. This hotel is absolutely worth considering. Thank you for a wonderful time.

I arrive at night (h. 1:30) back from an international journey, with a change of time band, I just hope I can sleep a little. Then extended to 11 after my prayers) is not well-being; at 2:30 a group of people in other rooms of the corridor, men and women, will come out of the voices that sound between the walls. They wish to be good night in a high voice, and they will have a date tomorrow; two of them do not want to know about and pull, they continue to blater in the corridor, then maybe they have problems with the door of the room, they knock it, comment, I'm forced to open my door and invite them to stop it with all that stick, and we're not in the square at noon. I'm going back to sleep, and I've been at 3 p.m. and I can sleep at some point. At 8:15 the hell starts, you feel shocks, noises of sticking hands falling on the floor, that is, you understand that it is already passing the cleaning of the rooms. Noise is intolerable, it is a forced wake like a caserma. When I finally washed and dressed, I go out in the corridor, I see one of the workers out of a room that cleaned the door pulling it out ... Here's the main cause of those noisy hits that they felt! No delicacy, no accuracy for those who might still be in bed. In the end, I had not only the unfortunateness of living with a poor and noisy client (and here the fault is not of the hotel, but it is not a little careful to recommend silence in the corridors), But there is also the 8:15 pm awakening that makes it unrecommended to stay for those who need a real rest. For the rest, decent location, friendly reception service, quality/price ratio in line with the Roman standard exoses.

We have stayed here a few times in the past and have never been disappointed. The views from the garden are stunning, the hotel is clean and comfortable, staff very friendly. I have a few suggestions/ points. 1. It would be good if the new owners were to re-instate the airport shuttle service ( no one would object to a reasonable charge) 2.The breakfast is adequate, but could be greatly improved by the addition of boiled eggs (prepared in advance) and perhaps cold meats, cheese, tomatoes...(in these covid times, this could be ordered and brought to the table from the kitchen) 3. My other 'niggly' little point is the smell of cats in the room - there are a number of cats round about?!
