I suppose you get what you pay for but in comparison to the other Ibis hotels, inc budget, I’ve stayed in this is below par. In the room the bed was thin & uncomfortable, the window was screwed shut, toilet was like an echo chamber so not great for sharing! The breakfast is continental style. We went down to eat at 9am and the drinks machine was on auto clean so we waited 10mins for drinks. The food started disappearing back into the kitchen, lids put back on, cooler emptied so we had to rush to grab things while we could. Saying that, the staff on reception were cheery & helpful, the whole hotel was immaculately clean. The location is good as there is a tram/bus stop outside direct to town & the airport, very easy to use.

I stayed at the hotel for a business trip and was extremely impressed by how helpful the staff were. I left a poster I needed for a meeting behind in my room and realized this only when I got to the meeting--called the hotel, they went into my room, got the poster and put it in a taxi to my meeting spot. That was amazing. We also had a late cancellation for a guest due to unavoidable reasons and the hotel was very gracious in accommodating. The room itself is comfortable and spacious. The downside for me is location in terms of convenience to the city center. The hotel is right by a bus stop but one needs to switch to another bus to make it to the city which takes a little time. Other than that, comfortable stay. Thank you again to the Ramada hotel staff for great customer service.

We came upon the auberge in carouge by accident after the Airbnb we'd booked turned out to be shocking, another story!! We booked and within the hour were sat in a lovely, clean and warm room. Quirky style which was just to our liking. Lovely hot shower and very comfortable bed. The continental breakfast in the morning together with the gluten free options for my wife completed a great flying visit to this excellent little gem. The Geneva Marriott is an attractive, contemporary hotel located roughly near the airport, and since the shuttle doesn't run that often, you might be better off making the walk, as I did. For me it was a matter of some 20 minutes, but depending on your starting point at the airport, it could easily be less. Much closer to the hotel is the quite large Balexert shopping mall at 7 or 8 minutes' walk. The center of town can be also be walked to, as the way is rather straightforward, though it is noticeably farther than the airport, making the trams that stop very close to the hotel an option. Of course you will have to ask for your free Geneva public transport card, as the hotel makes no mention of these at its own initiative. I liked the fact that I was offered a late checkout immediately on arrival. I didn't like hearing that breakfast is available to platinum Marriott Rewards members in the executive lounge only, a marked departure from standard practice elsewhere in Europe - not just at Marriotts, but also, for example, at their large American competitor also located near the airport. As it was, when I was ready for breakfast on the morning of my one-night stay, it turned out that something had gone wrong and as a consequence, breakfast was offered only in the restaurant. The assortment there was between good and very good, which I'm sure wouldn't have been the case in the lounge. The lounge had already disappointed the previous evening. I went shortly before 18:00 just to make sure that food would still be available when I was expecting to have the time, just after 19:00. The employee said yes, but there was virtually nothing left when returned; she might have had the courtesy to mention that they would stop replenishing dishes, but this would have required some thought from the guest's perspective. The gym was not so great, either; from a large and modern Marriott I'd expect better. All in all, acceptable, but if breakfast in the lounge is as meager as I suspect, then I would probably not favor this property.

The hotel is a dozen minutes away from Cornawan Station. Compared to other hotels of the same level in the city, the location of Mandarin Oriental makes me feel more quiet and comfortable. The staff at the hotel’s gates have a very good service attitude and have helped many things. The front desk is also very welcoming. During the epidemic, the room also provided two anti-epidemic bags with gloves, masks and disinfectants. The hotel also gave small cakes when checking in.
