Quite a disappointment. According to my families comment it was the worst rip-off we ever encountered at intermediate stops to Italy. The pictures at the hotel website do not reflect reality. The restaurant was extremely disorganized, as well as the food with was on top hardly edible. The amenities (sauna, pool, gym) were sloppy and not clean. The rooms were quite dirty and a fan in the bathroom was faulty and greasy. When we called for repair, nobody showed up. The price for two rooms & dinner was approx €1100 for one night. This hotel is not worth that rate at all. Try to avoid at all times.

Fantastic location in beautiful surroundings in the Tirol Mountains. Seefeld has great facilities and so does the Hotel. Breakfast is included and very good. Our rooms were very comfortable and each room had fantastic views of stunning scenery. However, the outstanding quality of the Hotel was the staff, in particular Tanya in Reception and Ioannis in the catering staff. Also really helpful was Nadem the Manager of Catering in helping me make this a White Christmas that my family would never forget! We will never forget this Christmas despite the difficulties I experienced with the booking company and the difficulty in communicating with a human being as opposed to a chat bot and the Booking Company's inability to answer basic questions about our stay. Tanya in Particular assisted me in navigating these challenges. I can't recommend Mountain Hotel more highly!

We stayed for one night passing through Seefeld but what a great stay it was. Room was very big, everything was clean and new and the facilities were all excellent. Breakfast was great with lots of choice and an omelette station. Staff were all friendly and reception spoke good English. There didn't seem to be enough parking spaces with cars kind of strewn over the entrance but we arrived late and they still managed to find us a space. Value for money was amazing compared to the other hotels we stayed at in Austria, I'm guessing this is because we were visiting a ski town out of season but Seefeld is still well worth a visit in the summer.

This hotel is a real game of two halves. It is also on the more expensive side so it is fair to raise the negatives in my opinion because in the end you will ask yourself “did I get value for THAT money?”. Positives: Really nice, large, clean room (premium double, mountain view, balcony). THE best location in Seefeld without doubt, summer or winter. Just on the edge of the village with near views of Gschwandtkopf, chair lift, ski jumps, swimming centre, cross country ski, sports, river, church as well as Reither Spitze in the further distance. There’s so much to look at from your balcony, it’s just great and beats a hotel in the village any day. Finally, there’s a bike hire shop about 50 feet away for E-bikes, mountain bikes and so on. The hotel has a lot to it; spa facilitates, gym, yoga room, massage, saunas, steam, whirlpools and two pools indoors and out. The restaurant is light and airy and offers half board as well as just breakfast. It runs like clockwork and the waiting staff were really friendly. The bar area is quite chic and cosy and there’s a large terrace. Negatives: This hotel is noisy in 3 different ways; 1) the main road is right outside and everything is delivered at the front of the hotel. Therefore, from about 6am to 9 expect, trucks rumbling past and delivery trucks stopping. It can be VERY loud at times due to this location. 2) The bar opposite (part of another hotel) plays music until 11pm and it is loud and obtrusive. A lot of it is also rubbish which doesn’t help matters. 3) The hotel’s walls and ceilings are thin and sound travels. Doors bang shut a lot and heavy heeled people above can be annoying. If you need absolute peace and you get stressed out if you don’t get it, then DO NOT book this hotel. If you can live with the noise a bit, the views and location outweigh this problem in my opinion. Some balconies don’t have dividers between them meaning that you can have that slightly uncomfortable feeling when your neighbours are outside too. There is no coffee making facility in the room and the coffee from the restaurant is simply awful. The restaurant generally is a funny place; there are the positives mentioned above, but you cannot get away from that slightly recycled feeling (buffet in the morning features some of last night’s food) as well as the very stiff and formulaic (and actually slightly odd) choices you get for dinner each night if you’re on half board. The food should really be outstanding at €40 per day each for HB but it really isn’t. It’s very expensive and YOU FEEL CONTROLLED in this restaurant. Finally, no table water other than a €5 bottle – totally unacceptable! We had the HB package but we won’t do it again. Coffee somewhere else first in the morning, then in and out quick for breakfast. Final negative is around the spa. The pictures are clever and wide angle; it’s not nearly as big or clean or modern looking in reality and the outside pool area is cramped and disappointing. Steam room was cold!

We spent 2 nights in this hotel on our way to Italy. We chose this house because of a very good offer. We were aware that we would be given the simplest room category and therefore didn't expect too much. When we arrived in the afternoon we were lucky to get a parking space. The check-in employee was visibly annoyed and made us wait for several minutes. When we asked to finally check in, the response was very irritable. As it turned out, the MA was absolutely at its limit - which we understood and the situation quickly calmed down. The room on the 3rd floor was big enough, but was right on the main street. A quiet night was only possible with the window closed. In addition, the room already showed clear signs of wear and tear on the furniture and walls, which shouldn't be the case. The bathroom was very small, the shower room was only suitable for people up to 170cm for showering due to the sloping roof. The pool and sauna area looked GREAT in the photos - in reality the indoor pool is very small and the sauna, steam bath and shower area is in a very small space. These areas are all too small for the size of the hotel! The only bright spot is the outdoor area, although it is borderline for the size of the hotel - but very nicely done. The size of the breakfast buffet is OK. There are fresh egg dishes and a good selection of cold cuts. Unfortunately there is only one coffee machine, which was very busy. As early as 9:30 a.m., the staff had major problems providing enough quark, rolls, etc. - due to the many tables that had to be cleared, there simply wasn't enough time. Here again there were some irritable discussions between guests and the employees, most of whom spoke German poorly. We had dinner out, but then went to the hotel bar. The drinks and service were very good, although the bar area was very poorly attended. Perhaps the impersonal atmosphere and the very bright lighting contributed to the fact that few guests were visible. Conclusion: for us, the hotel lacks a personal touch and a certain host passion. Apparently it's all about quantity and this mainly at the expense of the staff, who, despite clearly being overworked, are trying very hard. There was never a feel-good atmosphere for us!

The positive first: the staff is consistently friendly and helps where they can. We asked for an extra table, which worked out without a hitch. Exception: the young lady at the reception, who had probably just been trained and spoke German poorly. English was better then, but who goes on holiday in Austria only to have to communicate in English... The breakfast buffet was just okay, not anymore. The usual selection of cold cuts, cheese and egg dishes, but no honey, no freshly squeezed juices, and especially hardly any choice of bread. Just the same old dry rolls and baguettes. Where is the beautiful, juicy, fragrant farmer's bread that you can't get in any village inn? Coffee from the machine (one), where logically long queues form. Tea water from the dispenser wasn't hot enough. The juices also come from an automatic dosing machine, which creates the right cozy atmosphere. Wellness area: There is an indoor pool with a whirlpool. Okay, but quite small. The saunas (a sauna and a steam room) are on the same floor. They don't open until 4 p.m., which is already late anyway, and they weren't in operation during our stay, so we moved our wellness day to the Olympic pool right next door. Then there is an outdoor pool on the roof, which can be reached either via a fairly narrow spiral staircase or via the stairwell. Also not big and more suitable for children's fun. Anyone who likes to swim before breakfast will be disappointed because the pool doesn't open until 9:00. Understandable, because the rooms on the third floor face directly onto the pool, as do the chalets on the other side... In summary: The hotel thrives on its location right on the outskirts of Seefeld and direct access to the hiking trails.
