The hotel is very good. It is an all-inclusive hotel. After staying in the hotel, you don't need to worry about any food and drink.

Overall, it was an enjoyable stay although in some respects it was inferior to other hotels I stayed in on the holiday. The pools were great and so was the view from the room. The room itself was alright - quite basic but sufficient. We did have problems with a leak in the ceiling which was promptly addressed by staff but still a little annoying. In general the staff were lovely: in particular Chamindu in the restaurant, a security guard who called me and my partner over to show us turtles on the beach (sorry, can't remember his name) and the guy working the sunloungers at the lower pool. The weakest part was probably the food. It wasn't bad exactly, it was just worse than the food in all the other hotels I stayed in.

It’s a must-visit for anyone who appreciates the beauty of the ocean and is looking for a memorable getaway without breaking the bank.

The infinity pool of Bawa architecture is a wonderful hotel. Many of the customers seemed to be from Sri Lanka. There were many people like honeymooners, but there were surprisingly many families and families. Although the hotel was a little old, it was solidly built and there was no problem with the plumbing. Service outside the restaurant was very good. The restaurant seems to take more than 30 minutes to bring out what you ordered at lunch. And it was a little cold. Coffee for breakfast also took quite a while to come out. Housekeeping and receptionists were very nice.

Departed for Sri Lanka on September 28, 2023, and checked into the Amangalla Hotel in Galle Fort. It was the sixth Aman hotel to check in. It felt great. Amangalla was built in the 17th century. It was formerly a military command in the Netherlands. It later became the first hotel in Sri Lanka. It was acquired by the Aman Group in 1995. The hotel is not big, but it is well-equipped with swimming pools, massage pools, yoga rooms, etc. , you can experience local shaving services and foot massages. Amangalla is the smallest Aman I have ever stayed in. It is in the middle of the ancient city of Galle and a 10-minute walk from the lighthouse. The surrounding area is very convenient for eating, drinking and entertainment. There is the Tuna and the Crab restaurant, which is a brother restaurant of the one-Michelin-star restaurant in Colombo. If you have enough money, you can try it. Be sure to choose his tea plantation tour, which will also take you to see the sea turtle hatching base and stilt fishing. It was very interesting. Although I fell off and stepped on a rock while fishing on stilts and was injured, I gained interesting photos and a rare life experience. The ancient city of Galle is also worth visiting. Amangalla can arrange cars and tour guides. The hotel is right in the center of the ancient city. The location is good and it is very convenient to go everywhere. Although I fell into the sea while fishing on stilts and cut my feet. All in all, it was still a very interesting experience. The two Amans in Sri Lanka are different from the ones we stayed in before. They are far away from Colombo and do not provide free airport pick-up services. The airport pick-up fee for the five of us was about US$400 in a large amanganla. It should be noted that if two Aman activities are booked for consecutive days, they generally need to be booked from the official website, not Ctrip agents.

The city of Galle was one of our major points of interest while making a road trip around Sri Lanka in December 2024. We made our reservation at Tavetti Hotel a few months before our trip. We were supposed to stay there on January 1st, a special day, the first of the year. The booking was confirmed by the hotel and guaranteed by our credit card. Imagine our shock, when on December 31st we received a message that our reservation was cancelled! We immediately called the hotel where we talked with the reception and finally the booking manager, where both of them, very impolitely at first, and shouting at us later, confirmed that they cancelled the room because they had not received any additional confirmation, that they never asked for. They didn't offer any solution, any alternative accommodation and just hanged up the phone twice! That is why, we strongly discourage you from making any bookings with this hotel. We are in possession of written proofs of the whole situation.

What a find ! Our large room was absolutely perfect - open the doors and there was the wonderful huge pool! Everything was so lovely, just as the pictures depicted - even better ! Breakfast was great, we had 2 meals at the hotel of an evening which were magnificent and set up poolside for us which was really lovely We were thrilled with our stay . The staff were delightful, helpful and kept the villa in such beautiful condition. Laundry was organised for us which was greatly appreciated as we were on a long trip and needed this done on short notice We cannot rate this Villa highly enough. My stay at The Heritage Hotel Galle Fort was remarkable, with its fantastic location being a highlight. Nestled conveniently close to a variety of restaurants and shops, it offers the ease of exploring Galle's vibrant culture right at your doorstep. The proximity to the iconic lighthouse and the beaches, just a short walk away, adds to the charm of the hotel. Starting the day with the wonderful breakfast options available was a delight. Moreover, the professionalism of the staff was commendable; they were attentive and ensured a seamless experience throughout my stay. The combination of location, service, and comfort makes The Heritage Hotel a place I would gladly choose again for future visits to Galle.

Really enjoyed my stay at fort bazaar. The staff were very friendly and attentive. Due to the rainy weather down south I changed my plans to go to Tangalle and stay a couple of extra days at Fort Bazaar and enjoyed the spa and walking around Galle. I was a solo traveler and felt safe and comfortable there. Definitely somewhere I would consider to stay again

Needless to say jetwing, Lanka's high-end resort hotel brand. Although this is a franchise store and not a direct store, it uses its management team and its products. Small details need to be strengthened. A lot of food is shipped from the lighthouse hotel next to it, so the service time is relatively long, there is no bathtub, and the water output is slightly smaller. The manager is very enthusiastic and the service is in place. The other waiters are less experienced in internships and have poor English communication skills. Overall it is good, the environment has nothing to say, the quiet and private is generally satisfactory.
