my stay here was exceptional. we were greeted by Priya with a welcome drink and a smile, and the check-in was super easy. the hotel was beautiful, I loved the rooftop restaurant and pool. everything about my stay was excellent, but Priya was definitely the highlight of the stay. every question or request we had was answered immediately and with ease. we wanted to rent mopeds and she had the keys ready for us when we got back from our dives. when we left for a 5 am flight, she had to-go breakfast ready for us. we would have still loved our stay without her, but she made it such a wonderful experience. what a wonderful woman. we will definitely be staying here again when we come back just for Priya!

The rooms are incredible; it is so spacious and the terrace is perfect. Priya (the office manager) and her team are doing a lot of effort to make you feel home. The breakfast buffet is simply good, we even could have an early breakfast if we went out diving early. The rooftop with swimming pool is so nice. The sunset beach is only a couple of meters walking distance. We tried another hotel at the island but it was nowhere near comparable.

Amazing hotel! Beautiful rooms and good hospitality. The dinners on the rooftop with beautiful sunsets! Breakfast was okay too. We stayed in different places on the island but I would definitely go back to this hotel if I would come again! Thank you for the amazing experience!

I stayed here for 10 days in April 2024. It was a great stay. The rooms are spacious and very nicely furnished. Everything was very clean in the hotel. The view from the balcony is fantastic. The breakfast is simple but delicious and perfectly adequate if you are diving for the day. Dinner on the terrace was plentiful and very tasty. The hotel staff were all very nice. Priya from reception deserves special mention. With her always friendly, funny manner, she always put a smile on our faces. And very helpful if you had any questions or needed anything. It was a great stay and I will choose the hotel again when I return. Thanks for the great days team from Maa Thundi.

The best hotel in the most beautiful Island of the Maldives. Surrounded by heavy green coconut palms with a beautiful white sand beach will give you the best natural environment during your stay. Staff are very kind and caring. This place has a wonderful restaurant for dinning as well.

Great scupa diving with excellent accommodation at MaaThundi Hotel. Modern style and very clean hotel, great food, nice roof deck terrasse. Excellent Scuba Base on-site. Very friendly service staff - special thanks to our Room-Boy Lak****a who proviced excellent service every day.

Thanks so much to Lak****a for being an amazing room attendant. It’s been so cool coming back to a decoration on the bed. Not sure what my favourite, so far I’ve had whale sharks, peacocks, crocodiles. So much fun. And always a coming back to a clean room after a full day of diving

High standards. Excellent food and meals. Very convenient room. Big and clean. Very nice small beach under the shade of the palms. We stayed two nights, three days while diving and it was great and perfect choice we made. Very peaceful atmosphere Ran & Hai

My experience at Maa Thundi has been extremely pleasant. The rooms are updated and very clean. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Lak****a the room attendant is a true artist with is spectacular bed art creations each day. Pria from reception is very friendly and always helpful even when I needed to change my plans to extend my stay. The restaurant staff is friendly and memorized my morning coffee order and would bring it to me each day I arrived without being asked. The pool is warm and the views from the roof are stunning. The location is great to get to other restaurants and walk just across the street for the perfect sunset beach views each night. I would highly recommend this hotel.
