Comfortable, clean hotel with nice environment. Very practical for divers with clothes drying rack on balcony. Soundproof room. Meals at restaurant were delicious. Short walk to beautiful beach. 2 bottles of drinking water provided daily. Nice big wardrobe. Comfortable sofa. Table for working on laptop. Lift in hotel for tired legs.

In far south in Maldives you will find one hidden gem of the island called Fuvahmulah. Fishermans island and so called shark island. And in this gem lies Ataraxis hotel. Walk distance from the beach. Starting from entrance you are welcomed like you are family. There will be a tasty coconut waiting for you upon your arrival together with heatfull welcome by the stuff. Rooms are cleaned every day and whatever you need you can just ask the stuff and they will provide you. Restourant is available for you all day for room service or eating in the restourant. You can choose either buffet or a la carte. My favorite was fruit plate which i would enjoy on the balcony. My favorite part of the hotel is eithout question the rooftop. It has the best view in the island and watching sunset from there every night is just perfect end of the day. Whether on vacation or there for scuba diving hotel provides everything that is needed for perfect holiday. If tou have special requests for birthday/proposals etc they are more than haply to organize everything for you. So if you are in this island do not miss to visit Ataraxis and dive with tiger sharks :-)

Everything was better than expected. The staff really does everything to make the guests happy. New rooms with a lot of space, very comfortable beds, Hot shower all das. Food was made with love and very delicious. We will definitely come back. 😇

The bed was perfect for my back . Spacious room , a nice L shape with sitting d area inside as well . Nice balcony . Beautiful walk in shower . A nice little coffee and fridge area for me to charge my go pro and phone . And the best part is a really good Shisha on the roof top plus the best drink ever passion fruit Mohito .

Holly days in paradise 🌞🌈🌴! Simple , clean and comfortable. The stuff very friendly, the room big and clean, the food is good (I miss good coffee and wine ) the rooftop very good for sunset 🌅. The beach 🏝️ is the best with cristal water and white sand.

The best option to stay in Fuvahmulah. Good rooms, excelent rate quality/price, great staff always available to improve your stay and a small walking distance to the best beaches. Thank you Farigh , Haam and all staff for an excellent stay we'll be back!

We spent a week in the beautiful structure a stone's throw from a dream beach, everyone was very helpful and kind.

We were here at the end of January, 2023. We were booked into this hotel with a dive package through Pelagic Divers and it was such an excellent choice. It is a really nice hotel, newly constructed, modern and very comfortable. The rooms are quiet, very spacious with a nice sitting area and a balcony facing either east or west where you can hang your gear to dry. The walk-in glass shower is an unexpected treat. We found the staff engaging, very helpful and accommodating. Other guests we met were fun to chat with and we’d exchange diving adventure stories. On the roof there is a very nice workout facility, two saunas and a hot tub for relaxing and a great space for gathering with friends. We had an all inclusive plan so each morning we enjoyed a generously proportioned breakfast of fresh fruit, fresh squeezed juice, eggs, toast, coffee, tea and a Maldivian specialty, mas huni which consists of shredded tuna and coconut with onion and chiles. It is eaten with chapati, a bread similar to Indian naan. Lunch was always served after our last dive starting with soup and then tuna or chicken with rice or pasta, a salad, and fresh juice- sometimes at noon and sometimes at 3:30. Dinner is served at 7:30 or later. One evening we even had sashimi tuna (need to ask in advance). The hotel also arranged a scooter for us to rent for a couple of days. The island has very few cars on the road- most people use motorcycles. It is small enough that you can also walk or take a bus. We enjoyed using the scooter to explore the myriad of residential streets, with their beautiful floral gardens and decorative portals, the main drags with the shops, coffee shops and restaurants, and zipped around the island on a path by the beach through the coconut palm groves while enjoying a plethora of picturesque views of the ocean. On our last evening the hotel set a table up for us on the rooftop patio and we enjoyed a wonderful romantic dinner. You can watch beautiful sunsets either from the hotel roof top patio or a very easy walk to the beach, where you will see lots of families enjoying the late afternoon as well. This is NOT the typical Maldivian resort island where one walks around in tiny beach wear nor is alcohol available. This is a place where real people live and so far, it is unspoiled by too many tourists. We hope that their community can preserve this little paradise for the future. Returning is something we’d love to be able to do someday.
