Marriott's St. Kitts Beach Club

I'll make this short. We just got back from a great week, we already booked to go back. We stayed in a 2 bedroom villa and the next time will be a 3 bedroom. So we can bring more friends to show them how great the resort and vacation club are. The staff are the nicest people to deal with. So friendly.

I was expecting the typical Marriott quality as I am used to in the US. This property needs serious renovation. It’s was terrible. The rooms are old and outdated. Along with bedding and furniture. The common areas and pool is good but the options for food is limited. Not worth the money at all. The only saving grace is the location.

I can't say enough good things about this resort! We've been Marriott timeshare owners for about 20 years and this is one of the best Marriott resorts we've been to--and they've all been really nice! Very clean, spacious, comfortable and well-equipped with beautifully landscaped and decorated grounds and property. Very friendly staff from the moment you arrive and throughout your stay at every desk, bar and restaurant. Beautiful clear pools with enough lounge chairs and umbrellas for everyone, so you're not stuck out in the sun if you don't want to be. Nice swim-up bar as well.

This is by far our favorite resort of ANY hotel brand. What makes this property so special is the people who operate and provide top notch service. This resort is first class is every way! Not only is the property clean and inviting. But the food is terrific. We have tried (and returned) to many of the restaurants on property. All are fantastic in their own way. Shout out to the Pizza Shack team who provide the perfect pizza and smile when you need a snack/meal. The common denominator is the people. They care and will go out of their way to assist and accommodate. Special kudos to Melisha, Candace, Mauricia and too many others to list. The activity team, pool side restaurant & bar teams could not be more welcoming. Makes you feel glad you are there! We honestly hate to leave. A word about guests who slam this property because of negligence on their own part. Very unfair to the incredible property and team that work extremely hard to please all the guests, when the root cause of the issue is the guest's negligence.

Excellent vacation. Had a wonderful taxi all week long with a spectacular tour of the island! If you in St Kitts call Randy! You will not be disappointed! He knows the Island history so well and will customize tours to meet your needs or interests.

We had a wonderful week at Marriott St Kitts Beach Club and were feeling like this was our best family trip ever - until our last day. I lost my antique diamond engagement room in the villa (due to my 2 year old taking it out of my jewelry box) and did not realize until we were about to check out. I am sure it was in the villa, but sadly had to stop searching as we had to check out and catch our plane. I went to the front desk crying and asked them to please contact me once the room was cleaned to update me on whether it had been found. I called twice from the airport to leave messages with housekeeping on potential places it could have been. Nobody ever called me back. When I returned home I continued to call to check in to see if there was any update - and the level of communication was terrible. Clearly this item has immeasurable sentimental value, and any update (even to say that nothing had been found) would have been appreciated and made me feel like they at least tried to look. I have left behind phone chargers before and had hotels handle that with more care than this. We also realized that in the midst of crazily searching for the ring before we left, that we left behind 2 kids waterbottles in the dishwasher of the unit. I knew exactly where they were. I asked to leave a message with housekeeping about that, and again - never got a callback. I contacted Marriott customer service and submitted a ticket to try to get an update that way - and again never heard from anyone. We are so disheartened at the lack of communication, which unfortunately overshadowed an otherwise wonderful week on beautiful St. Kitts.

I was grateful to join my spouse on his work-trip to St. Kitts and Nevis. The open-air hotel had everything we needed, including a Hertz rental station in the lobby. Everyone was so friendly and helpful - I loved the casual conversations we had with everyone we met and the recommendations for activities (Reggae Beach and the water taxi to Nevis). Extra notes: Some parts of St. Kitts (and most of Nevis) are cash-only, but it is easy to use US dollars. There is, oddly, a small cash-only tax to leave Nevis at the water taxi dock. We had to return the next day to fully pay our Nevis driver, and he was so gracious about our planning failure. Even though the islands are not known for snorkeling, the jetties functioning as a tide break on the hotel beach provide an easy and casual tropical fish experience. I can’t recommend easily for youth (the island currents can be challenging) but any strong swimmer would not have a problem. Mask, fin, and snorkel may be rented from the towel hut (cash only). Should you choose to see the most of this beautiful island by rental car, plan to use Hertz from the hotel - one of the easiest car rental experiences I’ve ever had. Try to follow someone if you need to learn how to drive on the left, and please model the exceptionally polite driving of the locals - they will make room for you on their narrow winding roads f you make an effort to fit in! I actually felt protected most of the time, as I could tell drivers were careful to give me a little extra space as I learned the roads (no tailgating and horns are only used for greetings). Some businesses may run on “island time.” Respect this - it is what makes an island experience special.

This resort is beautiful and family friendly. We were there with our son, daughter-in-law, and grandkids age 7 and 9. Great views of the island from top floor of the hotel. Activities were provided by the pool and gazebo. Kudos to Nardo, Shaniqua, Orzel, and Tindjie. They were fantastic with the guests, especially the children and remembered their names. I am sorry I don’t recall everyone’s name. The entire staff was so friendly and helpful. The pizza shack and Italian restaurant were good. The Indian restaurant across the street is superb . Take time to go to the fort and the north shore. We also did the catamaran to Nevis and snorkeled. Reviews are complaining about the sargassum but they provide shuttles to other beaches. Mother Nature will prevail. Only complaint…the music played at the main pool was too loud. We stayed at the south pool. Thank you to the entire staff.

My wife and I had the time of our lives. This has been our favorite trip ever. The resort was amazing. Private beach was unbelievable. Staff was amazing and so helpful. The rooms were fantastic. We are definitely going again. I can’t come up with 1 negative comment. Can’t wait to go back
