The Lead Hotel in Freetown is an outstanding place to stay! Nestled at the north end of Lumley Beach, it offers a serene and relaxing atmosphere that’s truly unique. From the moment I arrived, the staff’s warm and friendly hospitality made me feel right at home. The food was simply wonderful – every meal was delicious and well-prepared. The pool area was a great spot to unwind, with a lovely view that added to the ambiance. My suite was clean, spacious, and tastefully furnished, providing all the comforts I could hope for. The breakfast was unbeatable, and I can’t emphasize enough how immaculate the rooms were. It’s impressive what they’ve achieved with this location, creating a peaceful getaway while still offering easy access to the beach. Without a doubt, I’d stay at The Lead Hotel again on future visits – highly recommended!

Everything was wonderful, we stayed at the hotel for several days, it is not cheap but it is really worth staying here, impeccable breakfast, varied, à la carte, good design, top-notch cuisine. and the kitchen has a very attentive chef - European - it makes us even more want to stay there and live. an EXPERIENCE at the level of American or European Hotels

My family traveled from the US to Freetown for our dad’s funeral. I was impressed with the cleanliness of our room and the view of the ocean. It was very relaxing to sit down and sip a cup of tea and watch the view. The restaurant in the hotel had amazing food. The staff was attentive. Accommodating and caring. My sister was not feeling well in the middle of the night. Their driver took us to the hospital and brought us back. The night manager checked on us frequently to make sure we are okay and the owner dropped by to check in on us we felt safe and cared for. I will definitely stay here again and recommend this hotel.

I love the chicken skewer…was the best ever…I so love the way it was seasoned and it came with a raita sauce! The reception was one of it kind like seriously guys the service is just like any other 5star hotel in Africa …I must say The Lead hotel is Sierra Leone’s 5star!! Thank you Mr INTAJ for a job well-done…you made my brother’s birthday worth remembering! Thank you THE LEAD hotel. ❤️❤️🫂

A superb hotel with a great staff. William and Muhammad in the front office were fantastic. Kenneth in the restaurant was excellent. The breakfast was very good. The hotel grounds were very beautiful. My room was very big and the decor was very nice.

We were warmly greeted by staff upon arrival. Which was very delightful after a long flight from Australia. The rooms were absolutely gorgeous, modern, clean and spacious. The sheets were soft and pillows fluffy. Great location, close to restaurants, children’s play centre, ******, beach, bars and night clubs. The hotel has security guards present round the clock. The restaurant was fantastic, with a huge range of options for breakfast, lunch and dinner and drinks were terrific. The view from the restaurant is spectacular. The staff were professional, helpful and friendly and the manager was kind and accommodating which made our stay extra nice and enjoyable. Thank you for a brilliant stay.
