When housekeeping was done apparently the sheets didn’t get changed bc there was a spot of blood on them. Other than that I loved the location . It was just two red lights away from my work. I didn’t have a place to live yet and stayed there . It was off from the road so there wasn’t a lot of road noise and easy parking . Staff was great.

When I arrived, I told the front desk that extending my reservation was a possibility. He said, “No problem. Just come in before 9am if you extend and we will reprogram your key and save your room for you.” Within the hour, I extended my reservation. That man left and another man arrived for the night shift. He refused to reprogram my key, that night, even when I told him I did not want to wake up early and did not want to be disturbed. The hotel breakfast is abysmal. There are no bagels, toast, potatoes, meats, or fruits besides apples. The only thing they have is waffles, oatmeal, cereal, and hard-boiled eggs. The service is one-star. The breakfast is one-star, but there are fantastic rooms. The houskeeping did a nice job, but it still sucks.

We travel between Florida and northern Illinois several times a year. We usually break the trip up and stop for the night. For $89 a night you don't expect much. We were quite pleased with this motel. It was clean and appeared to be newly renovated and nicely decorated. I will definitely stay here again on our travels.

This hotel was clean and accommodating. The breakfast was decent. We only stayed one night. The beds were comfortable. Rooms aren't quite soundproof, but it was a holiday weekend. It wasn't a partying type of noise, it was more you could hear families laughing and chatting together.

The hotel and rooms were fairly clean, except for the chairs in the lobby and the first room we were in. We also asked to upgrade our room and later realized we were overcharged. They told us it was $25 USD meanwhile when booking online it is only a $4 difference for the room that they gave us. We would have stayed here again but we felt this was poor customer service.

I’ve stayed in this area many times before over the last ten years and this is my Go-to hotel since it is tucked in a quiet spot away from the highway traffic.

Beautifully appointed and maintained facility. Host staff is welcoming and accommodating. Only suggestion is for microwave in the room instead of down the corridor by the ice machine. Needed to reheat food and had to redress to make the trek down the hall. Otherwise, 5 stars.
