A comfortable room that was clean and well maintained. Facilities in the room to make a hot drink and microwave if needed. Large wall mounted television. Max’s cafe, part of the motel served surprisingly good food for breakfast and dinner. The surrounding bush and gardens make the location a very peaceful place to stay. While out of town Foster is close by. Would recommend.

We went to Wilson promontory national park, so the location of this Motel is very good, about half an hour's drive from the park; we are a three person staying in the room, one big bed and one single bed. The rooms and bathrooms are very clean; parking is free and each room has a parking space, just outside the room door;

There are a number of cottages on this property, but each is positioned some distance apart, affording guests plenty of space. We stayed in the 2 bedroom cottage # 3. This was spotlessly clean and comfortably furnished, with everything we required for a short stay. The property is well positioned, with Sandy Point and Waratah Bay both about 5 kms away, while Tidal River is an easy 40 minute drive. We took advantage of its position to enjoy some of the many beautiful walks available in the area. The lack of traffic noise at night was a joy for us as we live in Melbourne, and the rural surrounds, including curious and friendly cows, made for a wonderfully restorative break. We would happily return to Prom Cottages in future.

Due to flooding and road closures, we were unable to get a room in the end and there was no way to get a refund, which was a pity.

Beyond these towns are some fantastic breweries and wineries as well as local produce such as cheese, artisan bakeries, local honey and other delicious products that you're bound to come across on your journey. There are so many gorgeous small towns to explore with local hotels the go to place for a nice meal. We are only located approx an hour long, gorgeous drive to Wilsons Prom and not too far from Waratah Bay, Squeaky Beach, Wonthaggi & Inverloch if youre seeking the ocean. However, if you are looking to stay close to 'home' then our property has a solar heated outdoor pool with outdoor seating where you can enjoy the finer weather, or the WIFI is FAST & FREE if you wanted to watch a movie!
