Overall it's good. The bar on the first floor will be lively in the evening and quieter around 11 o'clock.

Unfortunately we weren't given a balcony table as requested. Inside was very noisy. We waited 40 minutes for our food. Food was ok but very expensive for a hotel menu. On a positive, we made it for happy hour and won a meat tray. However, I won't be rushing back.

The food was above and beyond what was expected! The chicken burger was amazing. The chicken batter was nothing like I’d had before (so light and crispy), and the sauce was amazing! But…the absolute highlight was the Barra special with the smashed spuds and salad. It was something else. Looked and tasted absolutely amazing. Put this on your regular menu!!!! Will definitely be back again!

Great place to visit with an amazing view of the Coolongolook River. The staff were friendly adding to this great experience. There was variety in the menu which was great and the food was fresh! It is great when you can top a meal with a great view and great staff to match!

We attended the bistro for an evening meal. The bistro staff were as busy as a one legged man in a bum kicking contest. The computer failed to transfer our order to the kitchen. After one hour I followed up our order, the manager was quick to explain the situation and gave us a full refund plus he also gave us our ordered meals for compenstation. The manager was excellent and so was the food.

Best service from Gaye, we called in right as the kitchen was closing and got a lovely warm welcome and a 10/10 perfect steak. Doesn’t happen often. Gaye you’re a keeper, we hope you enjoy your trip to the UK, you clearly work hard and deserve it.

We went to the Hotel for a meal. Chips were soggy, I had the chicken Parm - I would have to rate that as the poorest I have eaten. The crumb was not crisp. My wife had the fish of the day and that was poor as well. Price of those two meals was just over $70 quality poor. The Hotel emailed us a please review and we completed the frank and honest appraisal - No reply thus far.

Went for some lunch and beers on a Saturday and a few bets. Must say the barman was friendly, humourous and very accommodating. When it came to lunch, I ordered a snitty with garlic sauce. It cost $26 all up which is pretty average,but unfortunately the schnitzel was very much less than average. In fact, probably the worst, dry, stringy, small schnitzel I've had. Only positive was the chips and sauce. I don't usually complain but I was that disappointed in the meal I felt I needed to give feedback. Girl was very lovely even offering a refund which I politely refused. She seemed to even know that it was a regular occurrence. Will think twice before returning for meals.

Great little pub to stay at for one night. Close to everything. Service was great Room tidy. Not for a long term stay one night perfect. Close to beach and food Didn’t eat at pub but meals looked massive. Perfect place to stay for the triathlon
