Montebello Deluxe Hotel

I will be as honest as possible. Stayed 27th June - 7th July. The hotel is a fantastic location, 2 mins walk to the beach & the dolmus ( mini bus station ). Rooms only tidied/ towel changed ( not cleaned) every 3rd day, tiny towels so I went on the strip and bought a massive one for £6. Safe was £30 for the 10 nights. ( I think they charge what they like as iv seen others charged £20 for 14 nights), fridge and kettle in room which is a god send. Air con was free. We got 2 key cards at no extra charge. Again iv seen a review where someone was charged £10 for the extra card. We arrived at midnight and Ramos was happy to serve us drinks and even got us complimentary cheesy chips, he was the best staff member throughout the holiday. The two lads on reception were terrible, always whispering to each other in turkish and laffing whilst looking at you so you had no idea what they were saying. The breakfast was same every day apart from the eggs which changed, scrambled or fried..the beans we stone cold twice but they warmed them up once told. The guy at the resturant bar was lovely. They don't like it when you eat out at night and make it known, but if guests got a discount things may be different. The pool... dear lord !! The British are the absolute worst, yes I'm a British but come on !! They get up in the middle of the night to put towels on the beds , it's laughable. We went out most days and only managed to get beds round the pool about 2pm. Best thing was the friendliness between the guest ( I will talk to anyone though) by day 3 everyone was friendly and chatty, met some lovely folks whom I will never forget, Maddie, Tony, Anita, Geoff, Anne & hubby. Oh pillows are rock hard so I used the cushions. The shower was fantastic. All in all I LOVED this holiday, paid £423 each for 10 nights B&B through Althams Travel via Easyjet. Jet2 have taken it over now and the price for same time next year is £750 so me and hubster are going to the Tower but will pop in to say hello and hopefully some of the staff will be there. All in all I loved it at the Montebello Deluxe, hopefully we will go back one day.

The Hotel room we had was fairly basic but kept very clean. The bed was not comfortable and the mattress really needed a mattress topper. The bath was quite a step up with no Bath mat so felt quite slippery when getting out. The check in was fine and the front desk staff were efficient and polite. The Breakfast was typically Turkish and fine . However we felt there could be a lot less waste if guests were given options of what they wanted bringing to the table i.e. 2 bread 1 cheese etc. The pool area was nice and clean and always quiet.More umbrellas needed tho. We only had lunch once and cash was requested which was a bit inconvenient . It's only a few minutes walk to the sea front . All in all an ok stay.

We have just got back from this lovely family owned hotel. It’s beautiful and clean with nothing too much trouble. The rooms are a good size, a little basic but you only sleep in them and we were more than happy with what we paid. Breakfast was included and you could ask for any type of eggs you wanted as well as cereal, toast and Turkish buffet. You could also order bar food ( that was at extra cost) between noon and 6pm which was a good verity, well priced and delicious. Location wise, this was perfect, a few minutes walk from the ***** yet in a quiet area. Olu Denize is a beautiful resort with many places to eat out entertainment is also widely available and plenty of shops. Beach is nice and the lagoon is beautiful. Would definitely go again and most certainly would stay at Taner Otel, as many people we met, ( all lovely and friendly) go there time and time again. Thankyou to all the staff for their hard work and making us feel so welcome and we look forward to seeing you all again

Being the closest to the sea in Fethiye means you need to be super skilled to navigate the narrow, steep and congested roads. The room I was given was on the mountain, the scenery was average, and the products and supplies were average. The hotel is used for a private beach, there are not many people, but it is open for a limited time. The front desk of the hotel helped to book a paraglider. If you do paragliding, you will get dizzy, just like motion sickness, so eat in moderation. In addition, because the car was parked on a steep mountain road and the front and rear cars were close together, I really didn't have the guts to drive out. It was the front desk of the hotel who asked his friend to help out. It took a lot of effort. I really want to tip my brother. The little brother confiscated it, and immediately developed a more favorable impression of the Turks. Overall the Turks we met were warm and friendly. Social security is also very good.

Spent 8 nights at Villa Beldeniz after asking to be moved from our other hotel (Mavruka). What a difference ! From the moment we arrived staff were full of smiles and extremely helpful. Mehmet and his staff work extremely hard and nothing is too much for them. Rooms are comfortable and cleaned at least every other day, if not every day. Plenty of choice for buffet breakfast with plenty of staff at hand if anything needed replenishing. Pool area is very pleasant, plenty of comfortable bed’s & umbrellas. We enjoyed our daily poolside lunches, freshly made and plentiful portions. Cake lovers are in for a treat amazing cakes are brought to the sunbeds each afternoon. The hotel is well appointed-being just far enough from the busy Main Street but close to a bus route and all amenities. So thank you Mehmet, Charlie and the team for a fabulous stay - we will be looking to book again for next year. 👍

We had a good holiday here. The hotel is situated in the centre of everything and only a short walk from the main ***** and beachfront area. However, the hotel, in our opinion needs a bit of TLC and refurbishment. That’s why only 3 star rating. Our room was situated on the ground floor overlooking the pool. The rooms are very basic but the beds were comfy and clean and we had clean towels every day. We did notice during our stay that there became a problem with the cleaning of the rooms and heard similar from other guests that they had a change of cleaning staff and the owners were having to step in. Our balcony area wasn’t swept in 2 weeks and the toilet was only cleaned once at the end of our holiday. I cleaned ours myself. Be aware though that your fridge capacity at home is probably bigger than the ground floor balcony area and not a lot of room to manoeuvre. Breakfast in our opinion was typically Turkish and really nice with plenty on offer, meats, cheese, water melon, eggs, salad, olives, fresh bread, jams etc and plenty tea and coffee. If I was rating the staff at this hotel I would give it 5 stars. They work tirelessly and are very friendly and nothing too much trouble, especially the young men at the bar who are just lovely and full of fun. If you want a quiet holiday then this probably isn’t the place for you. It can be really noisy. We didn’t bother much but others did. Although the bar is open until around 2am, the noise came from other guests who at times were a bit rowdy but again just having fun. If the hotel had a lick of paint I’d give it an extra star. All in all a good holiday but the hotel needs work done.

Super tolle Anlage.
