We checked in on the last two days before the hotel shut for the season, so it was quite empty. The staff were very friendly and kindly upgraded our room to a waterfront room with a balcony, which had a stunning view of the fjord. The room was cosy and warm, had a good bed and was super dark and quiet, so had great sleep quality. The breakfast was on the modest side, but was fresh, tasty and had everything we needed. Overall, a lovely stay and wonderful experience.
