Nice, modern hotel - but didn't feel that it was any better than many other 4 star hotels. Pros: It was clean throughout, good food and selection, Rooms were a good size, and a mini fridge with room for your own drinks. Cleaners did a good job. Internet speeds limited to 10 Mbps up/down although consistent so plenty for our needs. Good size pool and not too busy. Good size balcony. Cons: Air conditioning was a little poor for our liking and no fans available (limited to 23 degrees or 27 in public spaces). Toilet doesn't offer a great deal of privacy. TV had no apps or access to HDMI. Only offered Samsung Screen View which was a little ****y - but at least we could watch streaming apps. Staff were friendly but didn't really resolve our queries. Rooms felt a little basic. All lights on balconies and around the pool switch off at 11 on the dot - understandable that lights dim or shut off, but felt a little like a school trip with teachers telling us it's time for bed. Overall, we enjoyed our trip but not sure I'd go back to the same hotel, primary reason being the air conditioning.

Very nice modern hotel with good size rooms .lovely rain type shower very comfortable and clean. Large tv with some British channels good sound proofing .we had a room on the 2nd floor at the back with a very nice country view the only down side was the hotel swimming pool filtration and pump making a constant noise if sitting outside on the balcony. But the swimming pool was very enjoyable 60 metres long .The food was of a very good standard with lots of choice The evening entertainment was good very low key .Air conditioning work very well not noisy. no need to put your towel on a sun loungers lots of loungers and parasols in the pool area

Me and my mum (2 adults) travelled to Seth 55 with Jet2 at the end of September. The weather was mostly gorgeous, apart from the first day which had rain on and off, but once the sun came out it was a lovely temp. We had a lovely, relaxing stay and there are lots of pros to this hotel, so I'll start with those: We stayed in a pool view room, which was worth the extra money for the view - plus the balconies are a generous size so it was lovely to sit out there. The room was spotless, and areas like the hotel ground, pool and reception were always very well looked after. The reception staff were always helpful and friendly too. The big draw for this hotel, for me, is the location - the beach and surrounding greenery are so refreshing and beautiful, and I can see the appeal of this area and island for those who want to get out and enjoy the surroundings. Sat above the rest, for me, aside from perhaps the much more expensive Melia, this hotel would be the top choice for Sant Tomas when compared to other hotels in the area. Some cons :( - I'm not sure if it's just the time of year we went, but the WASPS were horrible and just everywhere (including the food in the restaurant). We struggled to enjoy a drink around the pool without fear of, or being attacked by wasps. I'd love to return to the area and hotel, but would be wary of this problem. Another slight disappointment for me was that I had let the hotel know ahead of our stay that we would be celebrating my mum's birthday during our stay, but this wasn't acknowledged in any way which was a shame considering other reviews have thanked the hotel for gifts etc to mark occasions previously. But this was very minor, we still had such a lovely time, and our room request had been acknowledged which was more important! So, if you're looking for a chilled-out holiday, in a scenic area with gorgeous sand and sea, then I would definitely recommend this hotel. Just be wary of the bugs!

Just been there for a week with TUI . Lovely location. Nice food. Technically we had a side sea view room, but it was really a full sea view, looking westward. Oddly, in our last full day they forgot to service the room, but that's no major problem, as we were right at the end of the season. They probably thought our floor was empty. Anyway, it was a great stay and if we return to Menorca we won't be staying anywhere else. Some tips: Hire a car. You can park for free about 200m to the east of the hotel. It was windy whilst we were there, blowing from the SW. Too rough to swim, but on the north coast it was sheltered and fine. Water at the end of October was around 22c. You can drink the tap water, indeed there is a free water station along the coast path about 100 m to the east. Public buses not that frequent.

Just enjoyed two very good weeks at Hotel 55. The hotel is very well equipped, the rooms are a good size and well fitted out, huge beds and a really nice rain shower (always plenty of hot water). Staff were friendly and efficient, room cleaning excellent and the cleaner picked up on and sorted a slow draining sink before we needed to report it. Food was generally good (as vegetarians with allergies it was good to have a wide choice). Specifics such as gluten free bread were provided without problem. Food choice did reduce in the last few days as the hotel was due to close shortly after we left. Beach was close by and easy access via boardwalks, mostly clear water but sea**** after strong winds a couple of days (as anywhere). We went for a back room as we thought it would be cooler (previous visits were pool views) - it was, and the aircon was good when we needed it, but a couple pointers. Towels etc don't dry well compared with the pool view rooms which face the sun all day. Also as we were close to woodland we had issues with mosquitoes, much more than previous holidays, but I think this was an issue generally on the island this year. There isn't a lot to do in Santo Tomas, evenings were pretty quiet, but that's why we like the resort. Overall a good holiday and we would return.

We booked this hotel for a week of chill out due to a stressful few months. That's exactly what we got. The hotel is faultless. Loads of sunbeds, wonderful staff, super clean, modern and an excellent restaurant. We went bed and breakfast as we usually like eating out in the evenings. In the end though we paid to eat in the restaurant for 4 evenings as the food was so good and the local restaurants we found weren't that great. The only negative thing we could think of was the local area which was really quiet.

What an excellent hotel, it has a smart modern aesthetic yet comfortable. Lovely spacious rooms, large shower & all amenities excellent, all spotlessly clean. Amazing pool, still warm enough at the end of Sept, the pool surroundings never crowded. No leaving towels on sunbeds here! Very quiet & peaceful hotel. Good buffet food, plenty of choice, the daily paella’s delicious, plenty of choice for breakfast & dinner which were soon replenished. Freshly cooked options at every service. Santo Tomas is a small quiet resort with super sandy beaches, clear water & other beaches in walking distance, green hillside behind, with a reasonable bus service as well as excursion trips to see more of the island. Exceeded my expectations.

Found this hotel by complete chance when looking to grab a quick girlie getaway for a week. What a find!! It was just fabulous and absolutely spotlessly clean. The staff are all lovely and friendly with a special shout out to the barman (Zavier?) and barstaff who were all just so friendly, happy and charming. Pool was an absolute dream and we had no issue with sun beds regardless of what time we arrived. My very first time going to Menorca and will definitely not be the last - would absolutely return to this hotel as it would be hard to beat! The hotel itself is extremely environmentally friendly and has a wonderful awareness of sustainability. All in all, fantastic hotel, amazing location if you want somewhere to relax and rewind, fantastic staff, great food and spotlessly clean. What more could you ask for?! Thank you for a great holiday and hope to see you again 😎😎

My friend and I arrived expecting we were getting a sea view, front facing room. When we booked we read on a review that all rooms were front facing but we got a view of bushes at the back. There was no availability for us to change to a sea view room. The rooms are spacious albeit quite clinical, wonderful air conditioning and kept clean. The shower is spacious, toiletries provided were of poor quality and no hair conditioner. My hand towel rail became unattached and was hanging at an angle. This was reported 4 times over 2 days to reception and only on the 4th time did the staff on duty, Ampero, get it sorted straight away and it was fixed when I returned to my room. Thank you Ampero. On our arrival we asked to book massage to be told that there was no availability for 3 days! There is only one therapist and I feel that they should employ additional therapists to allow appointments to be available 7 days a week. We went to another hotel for massage and then I got an appointment 3 days later and had a lovely massage with Graziana. The food was underwhelming, of poor quality and luke warm. Food is such an important part of being on holiday so this was very disappointing. We were half board and there was little choice locally to eat elsewhere. You can eat at the sister hotel the Santo Tomas which is around a 20 minute walk from the 55. 24 hours notice is required for this. No snacks provided with drinks at the bar, not even a drip mat! There is a poolside cafe, however, no waiter service around the pool. Pool towels are given out by reception and if you'd like a change of towel you return to reception and pop 1 euro in a charity box. There is no porter service so cases have to be taken to the rooms by the guests themselves. There is no local information in the room, not even a pen and paper, very basic. This hotel is presented as part of the Luxe Collection by Jet2 Holidays, it presents itself as a 4 star Superior. In my opinion this is a basic 3 star where we didn't feel particularly well looked after and it certainly didn't feel superior. The few staff that were there were in general very nice. Special mention to Ampero on reception who is a credit to the hotel. She checked us in and dealt very well with our immediate disappointment at not getting a sea view room. She also sorted out my complaint about the towel rail there and then. This should have happened on my first, second and third complaints about the broken rail to other members of staff. Ampero is customer focused and has a very nice manner. Thank you Ampero. All things considered I'm sorry to say we will not be returning to Seth 55.
