All the rooms I've stayed in over the number of weeks I've been working away have been clean and tidy. The staff are very friendly and happy to help with anything. However, one member of staff called Les goes above and beyond his duties which is greatly appreciated. Les quickly noticed during my first stay that on a morning I have 3 heavy boxes containing work equipment that I have to take to take too and from work. Les took it upon himself to remember the time I leave for work so gets ready to open the doors in advance and helps me carry my boxes to my van. He is such a friendly man who obviously takes pride in his job and always puts the customers first. It’s my pleasure to have met all the staff but Les in particular. In my opinion Les should be the first in line for any promotions on offer at the travel lodge.

One night stop off for a work trip. The hotel was more spacious than I was expecting and there was ample parking available. The room was very clean and provided all the required things you would need. The only reason I did not give it 5 stars was because the TV did not work in my room, but I was too tired to go down to reception and ask, and it wasn't a big issue really as the hotel in itself is lovely.

I was arranging a charity dinner and rooms for up to 90 in the Great Hall. The location is beautiful, and the hotel is clean and well presented. All of the staff I encountered throughout the booking, arrangements and the event itself were exceptional. They were always polite, professional and couldn't do enough to help. The evening went extremely well with fantastic feedback on the hotel, the food and also the staff from all who attended. If you're looking for a location to arrange an event, look no further.

Good hotel quite well placed from the A1 . Good room with all you need for an overnight stop. Breakfast was a bit disappointing, no bacon, but it is an express Hotel so there will be limitations on what's offered. Negative - many of the breakfast tables were not cleaned ready for incoming guests and they were not busy.

Staff are lovely. Very helpful. Room as always spotless with good quality firm beds and fresh soft towels. Also good that there is a Burger King, Greggs and subway on site, which helps with food options and you do not have to get a takeaway delivered.

Finding myself stranded due to flooding on Christmas Eve I contacted Pear Tree Farm as I was running out of hotel accommodation choices.SO glad I did.Tim and his lovely wife Beverely settled me into The Granary Room of a converted stable block.(All Covid safe).NOTHING was too much trouble for these two wonderful hosts.I felt safe and cosy during my enforced five days of being temporarily homeless. I would recommend anyone to stay here in this peaceful farming environment,horses,sheep and all. Thank you for everything,may you both have a healthy and prosperous New Year.
