We spent two delightful days touring the Mani peninsula and relaxing here. Service at breakfast and dinner was exemplary. The staff was engaging and attentive to all of our needs. Breakfast was served to your room or in the dining area and was excellent. Dinner was also great! Beautiful setting to escape from city life!

Great place for a family to relax and enjoy the surrounding beauty. First of all, the room was clean, had all possible amenities and the view from the room was simply amazing. Staff was amazing, very helpful and available for anything we wanted, at any time of the day. Food at the hotel restaurant was great (great pizza by the way), and great cocktails! Definitely one of the top options for hotels in the area!

Lovely hotel in a beautiful location and nice room and very comfortable bed. The housekeeping was very good and the staff on the whole were very friendly. The breakfast was good with lots of choice and the lunches / dinners were good but there was a lack of choice without a changing menu. The only criticism I would have is that the management didn’t match the luxury expected from this type of hotel. The organisation especially at breakfast times was chaotic which left me feeling really sorry for the young staff who were trying their best and were really helpful and friendly. Special mention to Penny who was waiting on most days and was so helpful and friendly and epitomises what service is all about. With a few small tweaks this place could be amazing but I would still recommend it and enjoyed my holiday.

Situated in a unique part of Mani and surrounded by olive trees, it is not difficult to understand that this hotel offers a memorable holiday experience! Very smooth check in and valuable proposals for dining, excursions, beaches via a QR code guidance! Clear explanation about the rules of hotel, breakfast procedure, and premises. Suite with private garden best choice! The best bed system of cocomat mattress is offered, as well as, nespresso machine. Daily housekeeping just perfect. The breakfast served in room or in public area (try it every day, start your day actually in the nature). The breakfast needs improvements, especially regarding the cooking. On the other hand, during our dinner everything was delicious. Many thanks to all staff, very polite and with the willingness to client's serve. Higly recommended!

Once upon a time, at Small Luxury Resorts the emphasis was on luxury. This is not the case. Situated in a magnificent bay it has significant architectural flaws and suffers from really poor service. On a sunny day there are not enough shady spots around the place. There are six umbrellas in the beach and a few olive trees, which – as all Greeks know – are not famous for their shade. The rooms are nice and spacious but don’t bring too many clothes because there is no closet (see picture). The veranda outside our room was livable only after 15.00 hrs because there was no shade. It is clear that the property was not completed as some fixtures and outside spaces appear to belong to a one-star low budget hotel (see pictures).The service is really poor. For example, on our first day they were out of beach towels and on the third day they gave us bathroom towels for the beach. Breakfast requires a weird bureaucracy of filling out a two-page form in advance, and if you don’t love the sun on your head, you must have it inside your room. Lunch is not possible due to the lack of shade, apart from some snacks by the beach and dinner - which quality wise is decent - offers little variety of plates. The place is understaffed, and the existing staff is totally untrained. With all due respect to the post covid difficulties, neither the SLH logo nor the prices can forgive this level of service.

100 Rizes hotel is announced as a small luxury hotel, and it is indeed located in a beautiful bay, with nice rooms, nice pool with direct access to a private beach just 20m away from the pool. A nice garden to relax under an olive tree, great view. points for improvement: The food (breakfast, lunch, dinner) was average and we had expected more from this place. The staff is friendly and tried to help as much as possible. We discussed the issue of the food with the manager and she was open for the comments and promised to work on this. Rooms are very good, with view over the bay, good working airconditioning, small fridge, good cleaning, bathrobes and slippers. Wellness is small, but with a good option for massage. Overall, this can be an excellent hotel if these issues can be solved.

At first sight very nice ! but the management is unfortunately terrible: we had to have breakfast in the room and order it one day in advance (I could understand this was needed during COVID, but not any longer - it was the only hotel during our trip that requested this); breakfast is average quality, lunch was good, dinner was poor quality. There are not sufficient beach towels for all guests ! There is not sufficient cutlery for all guests I think since it was not possible to get a coffee spoon for all of us (there was only 1 available !!), the place is understaffed. The staff is friendly and tries to help, but they can not fix the wrong management rules... Overall, this would be an excellent hotel if the management would be capable of running a luxury place. They are not at this moment !! Stay away until this is solved.

I would start with the actual name of the hotel " 100 Rizes" which means " 100 roots". The actual plot has 100 or more olive trees which are beautiful! The big advantage of the hotel is the location, the view and the fact that it has a private beach as well as a swimming pool. We never had a problem to find a sunbed ( which is not always the case in 4* and 5* hotels).The hotel is small ( 30 rooms/ suites) and there is plenty of space so that you feel you are on your own even though the hotel is full. We spent in the hotel 8 nights during the busiest period of August and we never felt it was crowded. Rooms are very comfortable. We would recommend the ground floor ones with the courtyard as the ones on the first floor have a tiny balcony. There is a nice spa. We would recommend having a massage with Chrisanthi who is amazing. She is 100 % professional and also treats children and is extra careful to make them feel comfortable. For our friends and us, it was a nice surprise when we were informed upon arrival that breakfast is served until 12.00. It is the first time we had to fill in a check list with our preferences for breakfast ( by 22.00 the previous evening). The breakfast is not a buffet so as soon as you arrive at the breakfast area they serve you what you have or ordered the previous evening. However, when we asked sth extra they always tried to accommodate our needs. The breakfast menu did not include still water and we had to pay extra every day, There is a kids menu for lunch and dinner. There where quite a few families with toddlers / young kids as the scenery is ideal for kids. The beach is sandy, the waters are shallow, the pool is an extra perk. At the same time there were quite a few elder couples without children. The hotel is situated 25 mins from Aeropoli, 30 mins from Limeni, 25 mins from Gytheio and 30 mins from Oitilo which makes it ideal for short visits. We would recommend rooms 101, 102,103 and 104 ( ground floor - I recommend 101 and 102) as well as rooms 105 and 106 ( first floor) for those who wish to be extremely close to the reception/ restaurant/ pool. Rooms 201 etc are a bit further away. Ground floor rooms in Complex 001... do NOT have big courtyards ( no sunbeds). We would like to thank Georgia, Spyros, Christos, Stelios, ilias at the restaurant and Charitini at the reception for trying to accommodate our needs always with a smile and positive energy! Olga cleaned our room perfectly ! We would like to mention that two members of the staff where never smiling and never said goodmorning which felt extremely awkward especially as we spent 9 days ( 8 nights at the hotel) and had interaction with the hotel staff every day! But this was the exception not the rule. Thankfully everyone else was smiling and happy to assist us. Overall we had a very good stay and we would strongly recommend this hotel! The only thing that we believe might be ameliorated would be to have a couple more people at the hotel staff

We stayed here for 2 weeks, using it as a base to explore the Mani peninsula. There is a stunning backdrop of mountains, countryside and sea. It has a small but lovely beach to swim from in the calmest of seas with comfy sunbeds and beach towels. The hotel team are great - there to help and very friendly and personable. The cleaners did a great job on our room every day. Breakfast was plentiful and we took it on the hotel terrace every day but it can be served to your room, which has a terrace, or balcony or garden. Our room was spacious and attractive with stone walls and neutral tones. Lovely enormous bed, comfy sitting area with TV, small kitchenette with kettle and nespresso machine. Great shower room, super fresh towels and local toiletries. The hotel is built from stone and has pretty, softening landscaping around it. This is a great place and clearly welcoming to all types of guests: couples old and young, single travellers, families with young children and extended family parties. Really lovely - thank you to the team at 100 Rizes - we had a perfect holiday.
