Hotel is currently being renovated. Once that is done it should be much better. Breakfast was not very good. Eggs did not taste like anything and there appeared to be some kind of hash that was not very good. Waffles were good.

The property itself is lovely. The room was terrific, and the bed super-comfy.
What made this a 1-star trip? When we checked in at 1:37 am Saturday after a double-overtime football game, the desk staff (doing her best) told us our ******* charge had not gone through, and our only course of action was to pay $200 out of pocket and seek a refund for our prepaid room. Which is still unresolved, two days later. And *we’re* being asked for the overcharge documentation?!?! Not sure who dropped the ball here - the hotel or ******* - but this does not sit well.

We enjoyed our 1 night stay. The room was clean, we had all the toiletries that we needed. The front desk check in agent was very nice and kind.

The hotel was walking distance to the area I was going to be at the entire weekend. I just left my car in the side lot and walked to where I was going. Breakfast was wonderful, even after I asked to grab items (technically) after breakfast closed. Front desk was friendly and knew everything around the hotel. At one point even offered to order food from outside the hotel and charge it to the room, unnecessary but amazing! The room was large and fit the amount of people we had in our group. Definitely will be booking here again when the next Thunderdome happens.

We were there for a medical reason. The refrigerator in the room was extremely loud! We were unable to rest. The purpose of staying there was to have a place to rest while taking care of medical concerns at the UNC Hospital.
We were very disappointed.

The extra bed in the room was very handy for us as a family of 4 adults and two kids. And the breakfast was delicious. Would definitely stay again next time we travel to the area.
