Cbh Ramside Hotel Golf Spa Durham

The Ramside was a great location. Not happy with how dirty the bath was. Never asked us how our stay was. Tried to ring to let them know we were running late to check in and they never answered the phone despite calling multiple times. Nice location and golf course (didn’t use) but for the price not very good value for money.

Loved it, 2nd time here. Fantastic place , sports bar next door and pool etc. Will stay again

Good stay - comfy bed & convenient to where our event was. Not much sound proofing in rooms - could hear next doors conversation!

It says is a dog friendly hotel but is not your dog can only be inside your room a nowhere else in the premises. On the negative side: Staff at the clubhouse was rude although the manager did apologise but we ended up leaving as no one came to our table outside to serve us. Food from room service was of poor quality too as I ended up vomiting the burger I had all night. Staff at reception did nothing to stop noise from a party pass 11pm at reception and when we called reception they offered to change our room at 11pm rather than addressing the noise, after we mentioned it didn’t make sense they indeed talked to people at reception to stop the noise. On the plus side: fusion restaurant food was really good and staff nice and welcoming. SPA was fantastic and massage one of the best we had. Manager of the hotel when we mentioned all that happened with the stay listened, understood what happened and apologise on behalf of hotel and was extremely polite.

last minute booking, great service, lucky enough to be upgraded to a lovely room, really friendly staff. Food and drinks reasonable.. spent time in Spa which was very relaxing and just what we needed. Had a look round new entertainment centre . The driving range and facilities is great,  will Definately be taking a  return visit.

Dear Sir/Madam, I am writing to formally raise a complaint regarding my recent stay at your hotel. Unfortunately, our experience fell far short of expectations, particularly as we had chosen your hotel for a relaxing break. On the first night, we were unable to enjoy our stay due to excessive noise coming from nearby party houses. The disturbance continued late into the night and significantly impacted our ability to rest. Regrettably, the situation did not improve on the second night. We were woken multiple times during the early hours, around 3:00 am, due to a fire alarm being triggered, along with loud shouting and disruption in the corridor. This caused further inconvenience and made it very difficult to get any meaningful sleep. Overall, these disturbances had a considerable negative impact on our stay, and we feel that the experience did not meet the standards we expected. I would appreciate it if you could look into this matter and advise what steps will be taken to address these issues. Service was good easy check in at 15.00 and the room was great nice and clean. We were here for a wedding and the day went very smoothly and great disco on the night. Peaceful nights sleep and nice and refreshed for the morning.

Lovely place, infinity pool was really nice. Bedroom was clean and spacious. Shame we couldn’t book our spa hour as the time we wanted was full, other than that everything was great.
