Premier Inn Dumbarton/Loch Lomond

The hotel staff were friendly and welcoming. The hotel was clean and fresh, getting a good nights sleep. The food and drinks were excellent in there attached Brewers Fayre.

Room clean and comfortable. Booked meal deal. Dinner reservation later seemed to be absent. Dinner odd / one person’s meal more generous than other party member. Sticky tables. Breakfast lacklustre. Not that enjoyable on our visit. Someone had dumped rubbish in the bushes - staff having to retrieve. Food for access to Glasgow or North. Probably wouldn’t stay again even though location works for travelling through.

Great overnight stay. Slept well in a comfy bed. Very clean and well maintained. Great location for me.

Overall the Dumbarton Premier Inn was one of the best my husband and I have stayed at. All the staff were friendly and nothing was too much trouble. The car park was big enough to easily find a space. We will definitely go back. On the downside the attached pub was pretty poor. It wasn’t very clean , the ding meals were overpriced and no real ale ,not even bottled. The gassed bears were very expensive.

Our stay at the premiere inn was clean and had everything we needed. The food in the restaurant was absolutely delicious the best mixed grill we have ever had! Our servers Julie and Molly were very friendly and they are a real asset to the company.

I would usually avoid Premier Inn as for just a few pounds more, you can usually get a gym in the hotel, but one thing I can rely on is that Premier Inn gives a good sleep which is what was required on this trip of the highlands.I love the reliability of the brand for that, most comfortable mattresses ever. Their wifi service, though advertised as free feel like a misdirection as there is not a lot you can do on it, and you have to purchase the premier wifi to be able to do anything with it.At £5 a day, it becomes an unplanned expense which I think should be included in the cost of the hotel, which is where I think the value of the hotel room drops a bit.

Stayed in room five. A nice clean family room on the ground floor. The TV was dreadful having but a handful of channels and as with most older PIs it was a tad warm and would benefit from aircon but a good night's sleep was had at a very good price, Excellent staff here - very helpful and chatty.

We stopped over this place for a night before heading back home. The room he gave us smell a bit stinky feet it must be the carpet. We can hear footsteps someone is running above our room. When my husband opened the lid of the kettle to put some water in for a cuppa what we found inside is some disgusting noodles in it! See photos. Disgraceful. Although it was replaced but the experienced cannot be forgotten.
