If I have to think of a place I can call home in Dubai, this is one of the top 3 that fits the bill! Everything here has a welcoming warmth, right from the reception to housekeeping. Fahad, Livingston, and rest of the concierge team never hesitate to help you. Darlene in the sales team and everyone at reception always have a smile on their face. Mohd Riyas and his housekeeping team keep your living space pleasant and your spacious, cozy rooms start looking even more relaxed! Chandana and his F&B team will charm you with the themed dinner nights. A perfect place to let your worries go and enjoy your time in Dubai. Thanks Mr. Nobbs for your leadership :)

They were very accommodating and allowed me to check in very early. The location is quite central so just a short drive from the mall, downtown area and the beach. The carpet in the room looked a bit dirty, but other than that no complaints really.

A hotel with high cost performance. It is very close to the subway and it is convenient to go to any scenic spot. Also, the subway in Dubai is very user-friendly for women and children. There are two special carriages for women and children, and men are crowded outside the other carriages. You can't go to this compartment either, it's just the business compartment of the subway (the fare is the same). The facilities in the hotel are also very new and complete, so don't just look at the promotional pictures, there is no photoshopped picture of his house, but the breakfast is very simple.

More about Dubai

Introduction to Dubai: A Confluence of Traditions and Futurism

Located on the Eastern coast of the Arabian Peninsula, in the south west corner of the Arabian Gulf, Dubai is one of the seven emirates that make up the United Arab Emirates. Known for its opulent architecture, luxury shopping and vibrant nightlife, Dubai offers an irresistible blend of traditional Arabic culture and futuristic innovation. This city is home to the tallest building in the world, the Burj Khalifa, and it boasts an artificial island in the shape of a palm tree, the Palm Jumeirah!

Tips for Travelling to Dubai

Dubai International Airport, one of the busiest airports in the world, serves as the primary gateway to the city. The Dubai Metro, taxis, and ride-hailing services like Uber are commonly used to navigate the city.

Visa policies vary depending on nationality, so travellers are advised to check the UAE embassy website in their respective countries. Credit cards are widely accepted and the official language is Arabic, but English is commonly used, especially in business and by the large expatriate population.

As for traditions, remember that the UAE is a Muslim country and visitors should dress modestly in public. Also, the consumption of alcohol is regulated and is typically only allowed within licensed venues.

Unforgettable Attractions in Dubai

Dubai's iconic skyline is dominated by architectural marvels like the Burj Khalifa, Burj Al Arab and the Palm Jumeirah. Shoppers will find their paradise in the Dubai Mall and the traditional Gold and Spice Souks. For a dose of culture, one can visit the Dubai Museum, Al Fahidi Historic District or the stunning Jumeirah Mosque. The adventurous can explore the vast Arabian Desert on a safari.

Weather in Dubai and the Best Time to Visit

Dubai has a hot desert climate with extremely hot summers (June to September) with temperatures frequently reaching 41°C (105°F), and warm winters (December to March) averaging 24°C (75°F). The most comfortable time to visit is from November to April.

As for clothing, light, breathable fabrics are recommended due to the heat. However, it's also wise to carry a light jacket or shawl, as indoor areas can be heavily air-conditioned.

Selecting the Right Hotel in Dubai

Dubai's hotels are as varied and impressive as its skyline. To stay near main attractions, consider the Armani Hotel inside the Burj Khalifa.

For a food-centric stay, Pierchic offers gourmet dining and is located near various eateries.

For luxury accommodation, the Burj Al Arab is an iconic choice, while budget travellers can consider Rove Downtown, which offers great value.

Business travellers might appreciate the convenient location of Dusit Thani near the business district. Atlantis The Palm offers highly Instagrammable views and interiors. Near the airport, the Dubai International Hotel offers convenient and comfortable lodging.
