Rumba rooms are great, spacious and well equipped. Food excellent Pool with a great view Private beach Staff were so good , the most helpful and knowledgable of everywhere we stayed. Simone and Camille especially on reception. All bar/restaurant staff v friendly and service was good. Tour of the studio was great . Lots of steps mean not good for those with mobility issues. Take a torch as not all is well lit Some areas look as though they need a lick of paint. At first we felt the communal areas were a bit basic but the staff and the hotel room made up for this. Port Antonio town is worth a visit, the locals are all very similes and like to chat. They appreciate the trade as well. Local beaches nearly , Frenchmen’s cove is beautiful but costs roughly £12 per person to enter, Sun beds are also available for hire.

Beautiful Picturesque The room was Immaculate I really enjoyed my stay. This was my first visit and I will definitely return. Peaceful and beautiful. Nestled in paradise Portland is beautiful Geejam is excellent and I am happy I chose this hotel for my birthday celebrations

We arrived at the resort, with no reservation, having left another stay because the conditions were so sub optimal. We were greeted warmly, given our rooms right away, a complementary drink for arrival and our bags were taken to our rooms. The grounds itself are beautiful, built on Cher Hillside with amazing lush Flora, and numerable nature paths to climb and explore the common area and restaurant is built with lovely natural wood, and serves amazing Jamaican fair. There is an infinity pool, which is simply but comfortably decorated. There is a private beach on the opposite side of the road and you get a work out going up and down the stairs from the resort to the beach, however, it is worth the hike. There is a lifeguard and small snack bar on the beach and we had a nice conversation with the lifeguard who offered everything from kayaking to swimming lessons . One night we were treated to a tour of the recording studio by one of the co-owners of the resort himself. The rooms are modern, large, and exceptionally decorated with photos and prints of Jamaican and Caribbean posters and art. We are bathroom, snobs, and the bathroom did not disappoint. We really have nothing negative to say about this place, except we should have planned to stay longer. Will definitely be back.

I loved everything about my stay at Geejam. It’s a true hidden gem. The property is a boutique hotel tucked away in the serene, lush Portland hills with a gorgeous view of the sea and coastline. I felt at peace and at one with nature. The room we stayed in was modern, spacious, immaculate, with lots of natural light and high ceilings, and a private balcony that opened into a beautiful forest-like hillside with the Caribbean sea as a backdrop in the distance. There are also lovely beaches nearby, like Frenchmen and San San. I highly recommend staying at this hotel. I instantly felt rejuvenated following my stay and will definitely return. Thanks also to the friendly hotel co-owner Steve, who introduced himself to my friends and me, who were there to celebrate a birthday, and made us feel especially welcome!

The ambiance was awesome, Lovely staff, great view, great good. The room was so beautiful and captures the history and beauty of Jamaica 🇯🇲. My friends and I met Steve, one of the owners and he exemplified customer service. Kudos to the Geejam team.

Absolutely worth every penny. Service is so amazing - they really know what they're doing. Room was very well laid out with a stunning view of the ocean. The whole resort is tucked away in the mountainside like it's always been there. Love the way the buildings have been built around the existing nature so it all feels natural. We cannot wait to return.

Gorgeous hotel worth a visit. Went there with wifey and we couldnt be happier. The view, the staff, peace & serenity this is a truly boutique hotel with a modern touch and wonderful service. Most definitely will be back again - it's a gem nested in Jamaica's best parish - Portland!

We've just returned from a delightful week at Geejam and I couldn't be more excited to share with all of you just how good this place is. Our room was top notch with amazing views over the infinity pool into the sea. Our meals prepared fresh with different options daily delighted us with every turn. We used their paddleboard and kayaks, swam with turtles, enjoyed the quiet beach and evening water front bar. Love music? Worlds best artists record right here! Thanks John, Steve and everyone on team Geejam you made us feel like family.

I absolutely love Geejam. The views are breathtaking, the rooms are immaculate, comfortable and the decorations are an ode to Jamaica's culture, our music. The staff are professional and warm, the food is awesome! I recommend getting away from the hustle and bustle and staying here to refresh, rejuvenate and unwind! And of course, have a Tingaling or two! (Ask the bartender for one of those).
