Hotels near Ming and Qing Dwellings Expo City, Dongyang

We chose this hotel because of its non-smoking policy [a lot of hotels in this town allow guests to smoke in the room]. We spent one day in a suite and one day in a 2-bed ”mountain view” room [view from our windows in the pictures] The 2-bed room was huge, 120cm beds, no fridge. The suite seemed bigger in the photos, nice, with a fridge and very big bathroom. Both rooms with A.C., both equipped with a universal charger, a tea set with 2 bottles of water 0,5l each, both with intelligent Xiao Du light, courtains, tv and wc system, windows equipped with mosquito nets. ”Mountain view” and some photos suggest 'Zen' style high end neighbourhood, but in reality it is a very, very regular chinese neighbourhood. There is only chinese name on the hotel building I think. We arrived one hour before the check-in time and get the room without any problem. The young female receptionist was extremely helpful and polite, used the translator app to communicate. She helped us to buy the right tickets and a hotel menager accompanied us to the nearest ticket office. The hotel is very close to the Qin palace and Dream Valley. There are 2 tourist bus lines (A and B) connecting most of the scenic spots, every 30 min, a ticket costs 2 r.m.b. one can pay in cash in the bus, this bus service stops about 4.30 p.m. Apple maps app works OK, google maps app does not work in China. We took a taxi from Yiwu station (1 hour) to get to the hotel, 170 r.m.b. and about 43 km one way if one goes the shortest way or 220 r.m.b. and about 63 km via highway, a taxi from Qingming palace costs about 20 r.m.b. There is an annual ticket for 898 r.m.b., this ticket is for one adult plus one child or just one adult - all 13 scenic spots included [Dream Valley excluded], one can enter each scenic spot only once a day. I think 2 scenic spots in one day is a max,  maybe 3 because most of the spots closes about 4.30 p.m., only one or two are closing about 8 p.m. There is no printed ticket only passport data in their system so you enter by showing the passport.The Hengdian Studios I think are not prepared for foreign tourists at all. Their printed map is very small, hard to read, does not show enter gates or ticket offices, their website is not helping, in theory there is an English version but with very little information, the chinese website is better but still not very helpful, there is no list of all 13 scenic spots or the opening hours, only information about the major ones.

The service is warm, clean and tidy, the room is warm and spacious, and the location is excellent. It is only about 3 minutes' walk from Qin Palace and Dream Valley. The housekeeping staff are also very kind. The lady at the front desk is very enthusiastic. The room price is also very affordable and cost-effective. Check in Super photo-taking

This hotel is just amazing, super value for money, the style of the room is really unique, comfortable and give you a feeling of a home. The staff is super nice and doing their best to help. I tried the western breakfast which is bread and coffee as the Chinese one which I personally preferred but their were both really good, left it at our door at the selected time. The video projector in the room is also very good quality and perfect for a night movie in couple. I definitely will comeback to this hotel and recommend it.

The room is fully equipped with refrigerator, washing machine, induction cooker, disinfection cabinet, and everything else. It is completely prepared for long-term stays for people who make movies. The sanitary conditions are good, the only bad thing is that there are a lot of stains on the sofa. The wallpaper has warped edges. The surrounding life is very convenient, and it is convenient for dining and traveling by car. It is only 3 kilometers away from Qingming Shanghe Park and Qin Palace. Parking is a bit tight. You need to find the main desk to scan the code for free when leaving the hotel. The house price fluctuates greatly, so it is suitable to stay when you are free.

This homestay is very good, with an excellent location and convenient transportation. The attractions are not far away, making it convenient for sightseeing. The B&B has just been renovated. The furniture is very high-end. The living environment is good and clean. The reception staff are also very enthusiastic. There is also a private restaurant in the B&B. The food is very convenient and the food is delicious. It is highly recommended.

Ok, not very quiet, not too quiet, based on the overall level of Hengdian does not require too much. There was no front door at first I thought I was going wrong. Breakfast is going to the next hotel.

Back to my hometown, I have been staying at Dongyang Hotel, and I am quite satisfied in all aspects. Unfortunately, the tobacco control has always been not done well. The tea room in the lobby is always smoky. The breakfast guests smoke and do not add dissuade. Please ask the waiter to intervene and reply that it can't be controlled.
