The hotel is centrally located to tourist spots and the metro gold line. All of the staff were so helpful, accommodating and ready to help with a friendly smile. We felt very welcomed as soon as we checked-in and were offered a welcome coffee at the front desk. Staff members like Basit and Tara were always there to make our stay a pleasant experience. The hotel is right across the street from the Souq Waqif and it is accessible from an underground walkway in front of the hotel courtyard. The same walkway is connected to the metro gold line. The metro is very convenient as it is connected to many tourist spots throughout Doha. The front desk is operated all day and night, so it was very helpful as we had an early flight out of Doha. The check-out process was quick and efficient, and the staff helped us with transportation and luggage to the airport.

Absolutely amazing. This was actually our second choice hotel as our first choice was booked out but i am very happy we chose to stay here. From the moment we entered the staff are so welcoming and friendly and do all they can to help you and make you feel comfortable. This place is amazing close to everything prime location. The cleanliness of this hotel is superb with amazing suites, fabulous air conditioning great wifi connectivity and big tv screens in the rooms. Our room was amazing i wish we could have stayed longer. I will definitely stay here again on our next trip to Doha. Keep up the good work.

We had an 8 hour layover in Doha and decided to go to a hotel for a few hours between flights. We arrived in the middle of the night and unfortunately they didn't find our reservation. This took about 30 minutes to resolve, which shortened our already very short night. The staff were friendly and helpful and when we finally got our room it was very good. Basic, but nice. After a long flight, it felt luxurious to have a bath and stretch out in clean sheets. We used Uber both ways and it was convenient and inexpensive. I would choose this hotel again in Doha.

We had an amazing time here, it was 5 stars! It was immaculately clean and designed. I was at peace because there was a Quran and prayer mat in our room, there's a Qatari vibe to the hotel; architecture, smell (smells gorgeous), staff. The staff are very attentive and theres a quick service. Breakfast was perfect, we had dinner and in room dining service which was perfect and special. We used the gym ( excellent exercise machines) , rooftop pool was perfect with private shower rooms. The spa was amazing, we had a couples hammam. The only thing I'm not sure about is, wether guests can use the sauna and steam rooms as they are in the spa, we got to use it because we were clients there. We also loved the segregation in the spa. It was perfect, we wish we stayed longer, it felt like home, we will visit again in sha Allah. We booked 2 hotels; after we moved to St Regis and missed Steinberger so much, out of both hotels we loved Steinberger and wanted to return. Steinberger scored way better than a well-known hotel resort. Thankyou for taking care of us.

MMarinaI normally stay at 4 star hotels when I travel, but I found a great deal on this hotel and decided to splurge. Not sure if the great experience I had there is normal for any Ritz, this region of the world, or any 5 star hotel, but it was very nice and I think I need to do 5 star travel from now on! The hotel reached out in advance by email to welcome me and see if I had any special requests. The room was very large and comfortable, with all the expected technology and amenities. Balcony was small but had a nice view. A plate of baklava was waiting for me in the room. Great toiletries by dyptique. My booking included breakfast and dinner buffet. Lots of variety, regularly replenished, has indoor and outdoor seating (I recommend sitting outdoors - better ambiance and the waitstaff there were particularly attentive). This was my first time doing halfboard and I’m a fan. Any hotel staff I interacted with were very helpful and went above and beyond at nearly every opportunity. The hotel has beautiful grounds and a lot of amenities including a beach, indoor and outdoor pools, spa, numerous bars and restaurants, etc. On my last day after checking out I used the pool and was able to shower and change in the spa facilities. Tried cocktails at the pool bar and B-lounge (one of the restaurants on the property). Very tasty but my experience in Doha (at the hotel and elsewhere) is that drinks there are incredibly weak so it’s mostly a waste of money. I traveled solo and didn’t see any solo travelers at the hotel. Lots of families, couples, business travelers attending conferences at the hotel. I didn’t feel strange but little opportunity to meet people if that’s what you were hoping for. In terms of the hotel’s location, there’s really no where to go by foot but Ubers come quickly,
are relatively cheap, and nothing is that far in Doha. All in all, would definitely recommend staying at the Ritz.

This was answered very quickly and put my mind at rest about the size of the rooms and ability to accommodate a third person. This was also reconfirmed directly by the hotel less than 30 minutes after making the booking via Expedia. And then, the day before our arrival I received a courtesy telephone call (Doha to UK) to check whether we had any special requests or transportation needs and to say how much the team were looking forward to our arrival. I have stayed at many 4 and 5 star hotels around the world and never have I been called ahead of time to be welcomed. A really personal touch. Arrival Tip: If taking a taxi from the airport be sure to state clearly Souq Waqif Boutique Hotels by Tivoli and in particular Arumail Boutique hotel on Al Souq Street. Unfortunately, we were taken to the completely wrong hotel which also had the name Souq Waqif in the title! When we did arrive at the correct hotel the welcome was warm and our earlier stress was quickly forgotten. We were checked in at Arumail hotel with the offer of coffee and dates whilst we were waiting. (Thank you to Mr Mouhaib for the coffee and introducing us to sweet dates) Our booking was split between Arumail and Mirqab hotels but Mr Abdullah was super helpful and offered our couple in the group an upgrade at a discounted price so that we could all stay together in Al Mirqab. It was an offer too good to refuse! Once we had completed the formalities we and our luggage were whisked by buggy over to Al Mirqab. Hotel Location Excellent! All of the hotels are dotted around the souq, but we liked Al Mirqab because it was right next door to the Metro station. If you want to be close to the Corniche choose Al Jomrok. Al Jasra is slightly on the edge but no more than a 2 minute walk from the main area. Rooms Our rooms were spacious and very well appointed. Even with the additional bed in one of the rooms we still had plenty of room. The complimentary water and tea and coffee was replenished every day and the mini fridge was perfect for cooling the water overnight ready to take out with us the next day. Our room was spotlessly clean and made up every day. This was done without any disturbance or inconvenience to us. We never saw the housekeeping staff but always returned to a freshly made up room. If I had one tiny little ****** it would be about the lack of plugs; one by each bedside table would have been super helpful. That said, on the day we were leaving I found one in the wardrobe (near the safe), one ‘hiding’ behind the luggage stand and one ‘hiding’ beneath the curtains. My fault for not looking properly, lol! Wi fi was excellent. What we loved about the wi fi was that it worked in all of the hotels and we only ever had to log in once. Food Our stay included breakfast which for the first few days o

The hotel is really good. Doha is clear at a glance. There is also an empty swimming pool on the 19th floor. Unfortunately, it is not borderless. The breakfast is also good, but I am not used to eating. The service is very friendly, more friendly than domestic. The front desk took the trouble to check Ctrip's voche with me. GGuest UserAn amazing welcome both by the doorman and the ladies at reception. I arrived at 10am and check-in wasn't until 2pm but the lovely lady checked me in within 30 minutes. All staff were very friendly and polite. The room was inexpensively priced. I chose a twin single room on the first floor and the room was very clean and comfortable. The hotel is close to Souq Waqif and close to a few take away food shops and some mini markets. I was a solo female traveller and felt safe and respected at all times by the hotel staff as well as the shop owners in the area. I walked from Souq Waqif to the Hotel without a second thought. It was very safe. Thank you Royal Qatar Hotel for welcoming me to your hotel. I would love to stay with you again. Wishing you and your staff love and health. See you on my next trip to Doha, Qatar.

There are large construction sites around, and there are no construction sites in Doha.
