It is a B&B and not a 5 star hotel. It is a very old house and in a style 0f 80 years ago. When arriving the owner gave us plenty of tips for Deventer and where to go and tips on restaurants. Free parking in front of the door. It is a quiet area with a park in fron the house. 3 minute walk is the ferry that runs until 11. After that it is a 15 minute walk over the bridge from Deventer Centrum to the B&B. Breakfast was great and a lot. The house is a bit noisy but that is expected. Wifi did not work so good. Private bathroom but a share toilet which is not for everyone. Beds were good and the room was large. A nice change for now.

The place is very special. It brings you back 50 - 100 years in time. Focus on the really special items would help the experience. The service is outstanding. The reception is most pleasant and the breakfast excellent. The only problem are the beds. The matrasses are way too hard. We didnot sleep well.

Prachtige authentieke B&B, vlakbij het pondje van Deventer. Je bent zo in het knusse centrum. Bij het inchecken vertelde de eigenaar veel over bijzondere plekjes in Deventer en een stukje historie. Leuk! Het ontbijt was fantastisch! Wij zaten in de bloemenkamer. Erg stijlvol en authentiek. We hebben van ons verblijf genoten. Een dikke aanrader!

Fantastische ervaring, leuk, terug in de tijd. Schoon gezellig knus. Ontbijt was ook top geregeld en ruim voldoende. Op loopafstand van het veer dat je naar de overkant van de IJssel brengt voor een habbekrats. Zeker de moeite waard om hier te blijven overnachten

Warm ontvangst, stadstips onder het genot van een kopje koffie of thee. Indrukwekkend interieur, alles netjes en schoon. Prima kamer, goed bed. Wc op de gang en badkamer kan een opknapbeurtje gebruiken. Ligging is super: 5 minuten lopen naar het pontje en dan in een paar minuten de Ijssel over en dan loop je zo het gezellige centrum van Deventer in. Wij aten bij Jackies (top) en slenterden door de boekenstraatjes. Ontbijt in deze b&b is werkelijk fantastisch! Als je overweegt om naar Deventer te gaan, doe je er goed aan om deze b&b te boeken!

We zijn hier drie nachten geweest. Laat je hier verrassen door het interieur. Het ontbijt is hier een feestje. De gastheer zit met passie in zijn rol. De kamers zijn goed. De locatie is nabij de fietsknooppunten en het pontje naar de oude stad.
